More Autonomy for Maharashtra
by harsh kumar on Feb 05, 2008 09:49 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

....its best form: a reason to adore Mumbai, more than any other Indian city. A little bit of research would show the importance of the Bihari / UP Bhaiya community in the economic growth of Mumbai, akin to that of worker ants amidst the queen ant.

In the end it is your decision to take sides, but do mull over as to whether your verdict below is born out of ignorance or a genuine understanding of our present situation. Whatever it is, there is an incumbent need to respect the spirit of fraternity and more importantly understand that every individual has the right to fit into the social mosaic. Of course, let not our thoughts be guided by those politicians who believe in this theory of separatism, for these are those who prove the fact that, politics is the last refuge of a scoundrel.

Raj Thakre is not the core of Maharashtra
by kishor deshmukh on Feb 05, 2008 09:47 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Maharashtra's core is not Raj Thakre so dont take his words seriously. They are traitors coz they want to remove mumbai's core from mumbai. But people in mumbai are not so ignorant, mumbai was one after the Mumbai blasts and after the mumbai floods. This was not long time ago, and there was no politician who came and helped the public it was the general public themselves helping each other irrespective of what they are. Maze maarathi bhau just remember this 'Vitthal avadi prembhav'. Hech tumche ani majhe jagnyache strot aahe..

you got it wrong bro. its not your house it is india house. the reason mumbai is the financial capital is because of these outsiders. all the finance is handled by gujaratis and hotel is dominated by shetty. think abt it. so in the end in a country there is no your house and my house. get up from such narrow thinking. when people around the world are talking abt globalization, such scum like Raj are trying to divide it. yeah me pan marathi manusach aahe.

all the talk of brotherhood why in only in MUMBAI.

Remember they will be very hostile for the outsiders in their land

Long Term Solution
by sachchidanand dhar on Feb 05, 2008 09:44 AM  Permalink

This kind of thinking and movement is neither unique to Raj Thakrey, nor to Maharashtra.
Long term solution would be to develop all regions simultaneously, and reduce the load of industries on any one one city or region. People should be able to find their livelihood in their own viable circle.
