Violence in Mumbai against North Indians
by hem raj jain on Feb 09, 2008 09:41 AM  Permalink

Raj Thackeray should rather do as under:-

(1)- Launch political movement for getting laws enacted:-

(i)- By Urban Development Ministry of Government of India where parameters / specifications for urban planning will be made mandatory all over India. Wherever people's density is more than mandatory limit then a law should be there to allow sale of land and landed property only to government and no further sale to private persons till mandatory parameters / specifications are reached. State (Maharashtra) can enact laws which will be (in better urban planning sense) in addition to this central law.

(ii)- By Centre and Maharashtra State that agricultural land will not be transferred to any other purpose except in exceptional cases recommended by high power statutory body.

(2)- Launch a NGO / Trade union at all India level to safeguard the interest of workers of National Rural Employment Guarantee program. (which will stop exodus from rural areas to metros and big cities).

( 3)- In the interest of cultural empowerment, MNS should ensure that Marathi is developed to an extent that it can and does replace English completely in Maharashtra (even by launching NGOs for education and health on the basis of no-profit no-loss limited companies).

Jesus is ravana & allah is kumbhakaran

Yahweh is meghnath.

Western-white-christians with the help of local christians
and other misguided or bribed people are trying to weaken
non-christian cultures, because their aim is to kill every body
except western-white-christians, under the disguise of
the judgement day, and take over the whole earth for
its land and resources.

Ajay! take it as an isolated accident not all marathis think in line with the people reacting irrationally. Don't get angry like this and pass a judgement: rather be magnanimous. Kshama badan ko chahiye chhotan ke apradh, kya vishnu ka ghat gaya jo bhrigu mare laat?

RE:Raj Thakrey suffering from inferiority complex

I heard Mr. Parker spokesperson of MNS saying on TV that 70% of railway employee from bihar. dude if biharis are hardworking then they will get the job. why dont u try to nurish ur skills and be as competitive as biharis. you are shouting just because of ur inferiority complex that biharis will take away all jobs and business. The same as Americans are shouting... Indians are taking away their job.

Iam born and brought up in Mumbai, aged 35 years. My mother tongue is Tamilian. I have a friend who is a Maharashtrian, aged 27 years. Who is more of a Maharashtrian, my friend who is born a Maharashtrian and has spent 27 years in Mumbai or me who was born a Tamilian and has spent 35 years in Mumbai. Who decides as to who is more of a Marathi Manoos? People like me know only Mumbai as the city where they were born, where they studied, where they earned a livelihood etc. For us this city is our native place, where do we go? Can anyone answer that?

hey Sriram! there is no point in getting agitated. Sure Mumbai is your place, because by first principle One belongs to the place where he/she is born and feel sense of belonging for. Its high time that in present context people will have to broaden the definition of "mumbaikar" or "marathi" liberally with open heart and more importantly with open brain. I got a name from someone in this chat of gaddar (no offense taken or intended)and i believe that the gentleman in question stays across the atlantic or pacific (whatever...does that matter really?), what will be it like if the gentleman is harassed on the basis of his origin?
come on guys be an indian first or shold i say human being first??? i may be hardhitting few of your collective nerves but we are a nation which believes in "vasudhaiva kutumbakam". we have indianized the aggressors like Shaks, Huns and Yavans. For heaven's sake we are not a adolescent nation we are so called "Vishwa Guru" . Are we setting an example. Sure we are; but not on form of 'Do' but "DON'T".
if we pay heed to such callings which may divide us where do we stand really?
call me anything you wish but be an Indian first , the Indian which world has been inspired from for ages. If we do that there will be no issues like that.

yes sure you are right but what about the local person who suffer becasue of this inflex of migrent . we pay tax for everything from property to road to water to everything. what we get nothing money collected from our tax go t central what in return we get nothing 60 % of the tax collected from mumbai goes to bihar & up . still the biharis & upaties are coming to mumbai . they dont pay tax goes anywhere build hut & then creat problem for state govt. 90% of illegal hutment are belong to bihariis & up aties . what you have to say about that dear. you open you door & one day you find that you yourself is out of that place which once was your that is the case here . we marathi's were the part of mumbai then come all others now tak a look at dadar , parel what you will see 70To 80 % are non mararthis where are all thos marathis goen . they were force out hear of mumbai becsue inflex state policies . whats wrong if some one ask you to get out of his own house . if you are guest in house you can stay for soem time but if you try to become the owner of house how will the original ower will react ? can you tell me
