Whatever happend between MNS and SP is purely political issue and the common public is being targeted. SP like MNS is a regional party which has boundry limit of UP.It could not win even one seat in Bihar assembly.MNS has the same territorial limitations. Thousands of UP and Biharis migrate to greener pastures like mumbai because of social inequality,negative progress,lawlessness.corruption,police and political atrocities. If you look at these migrant,they are mostly from the lower strata of economical hirearchy. Now,what MNS is objecting to is the SP leadership comming here in Mumbai and trying to creat a citadel of power by useing these migrant.This will never go well with any local political party and also with the local population.This clash is unavoidable. There is no need for the rest of the Indians to take a stand as if something big has happend because we Indians are known for this kind of regionalism.Has it not happend in other states ever before?So don't become saints because all of us are opportunists.We change sides when it suits us. What is happening in Hariyana and Punjab,Karnataka and Tamilnadu in Bangaluru,between Assami and Bengali?

These Biharis & Upites get no respect in south, particulary in TN, they are treated inferior. Their CM even castigates Lord Rama and treat as outsider. In Assam, everyday tens of Hindis are getting butchered, Still no word of protest.
But here in MS, just between a political war between MNS and SP, the issue is blown out of porportion by these idiots. Really Amazing.

With due respect to Biharis and UPites, I have to sincerely state that the entire business is to instigate fight between Marathi and Hindi by power hungry politicians. While Raj Thackrey had no business to comment on Chat Pooja by Biharis, politicians from these states had a god sent opportunity to wash their hands in the controversy. Once again over the petty issue of migration, without understanding the basic problem has started and spewing poison on each other is not the solution. Influx from Bihar and UP has adversely affected the infrastructure of Mumbai as well as major cities of MS. Then again these people are not inclined to mix up with the locals and they want their culture to be imposed on us & their politicians are talking about the actions and the reactions.
While its true there are lacs of Marathis staying in northern India, fact is that Marathas there have mixed up with the culture of the respective states like sugar & milk. Shinde (Scindias), Holkars, Laxmibai, Bhonsales(in Thanjavor),Gaikwads in Vadodara are some examples. Even CM of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje is too Marathi. The first CM of UP, Mr. Pant was of Mahahashtrian origin.
The problem arises when the outsiders particularly from UP and Bihar are averse to mix up in MS (or any other state) culture and they want their language and culture to be imposed everywhere and thats the origin of the problem.

People from north India have now faced lots of humiliation...be it their Gods, their festivals, their land, religions, and even their idols like Amitabh bachchan who is even beloved of entire India ... every one has been constantly repeatedly humiliated by people like Raj Thackray and they ahve crossed the limits now. Government is doign nothing. Political parties are jst giving statements. We north Indains never do such humiliations or divisive behaviour with any person from south of Maharastra but these guys have crossed this limit. We need to unite and make a force so that these madharjaats learn their aukaat!

This kind of attitude has been caused by the total disregard for civility e.g. - 1) shitting on railway tracks (note that even the most poor person from Maharashtra doesnt do it on Mumbai tracks) 2) Playing loudspeakers and the likes in early morning during festivals ignoring rules. Check if any other normal community does it in Mumbai. After all the years the resentment has flown over. Maybe you need to tell the rest of the North Indians to behave more civilly when they come to a city. Form a force to take care of the civility and the civil behaviour will follow. Educated people from the North Indian states face no issues in Maharashtra but now even they are in danger thanks to the SP supporters and their types.
