it is amitabh's money, not raj thackrey's money
by Pradip Parekh on Feb 04, 2008 10:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

amitabh can do whatever he wants to do with his money. it's not raj thackrey's money, an dhence not his business. he is not amitabh's investment adviser. let raj do with his money what he is advising amitabh about. where would maharashtra be if it did not have fdi. u.p. needs development too. if bachan has the project let it be. may be we all can buy a share or two in bachan's venture. however, hindus, pls do not see that movie akabar stuff which insults the hindus.

Maharastrians are essentialy South Indians and it high time they accept it.
by Aditya Phadnis on Feb 04, 2008 09:33 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Historically and Culturally the Indian penissula south of the river Narmada is called Deccan.
South India as well as the entire state of Maharashtra lie on that region. Appart from the devnagri
script Maharashtra and Marathi does not have anything common with North India. Infact the North
follows the Hindu Calender Vikam Shake Samantta and Maharashtra follows the Shaliwahan Shakke Samwatta.
Festivals, culture, and also music of Maharastra have more South Indian flavor then North Indian. It is more near to
Carnatic music than Hindustani. Infact its is said because Marathas faughat against the Northern Invadors and Mughals, the culture and religion of the south India was saved from thease invadors.

Its high time that Maharastrians are prowd and acknolodge their South Indian identity, because appart from the devnagri script there is nothing common with the North on the other hand there is so much common with South that you can imagine. Maybe now we will better understand the sentiments of Tamils, Kanadigas, Malyalis and Andharites on why they are against North Indians

Despite people from maharastra and south indian making noises about their regions.
All of you shoud remember north indians dominate indian politics in parliament , most of the ias officers are north indians and most important the vast majority in the armed forces are north indians.
When push comes to shove you will see what happens.

If historically & culturally you are so close to south then try speaking Marathi in tamilnadu, you will better understand the sentiments of Tamils.

Kudos to MNS
by Riva Philip on Feb 04, 2008 08:11 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

In this issue I support MNS. Jaya Bachchan is a shameless MP who was more concerned about Amitabh not having bath when people of Mumbai/Thane were suffering from deluge before 2 years.

It is the time to ban parties like SP, BSP, JD(S), JD(U), CPM, CPI etc from Maharashtra.

These peoples who have not invested in the form of money only but also become the part of the maharashrian culture. There are not any controversies created by our government, but all the time the govt provided the infrastructure, land, power, road, and assurance of social securities to these industries.
Yes One exmpale Mr. Rahul Bajaj POwermaker of Bajaj Group is not only running industry in pune but he is a respected part our Maharshtraian Culture, we Can Proudly say that one time its was a day dream for us to buy a bikeafter lockout in nigadi plant due dispute with pipmari Chinchawad mahanagerpalika as well as other reason but the efforts of him with support of people around pune forced him to start a new unit which is running in chakan successfully%u2026
Let me know why he not thinked about other places%u2026
He is playing most importanant roll in Pune%u2019s Culture Life example Savai Gandharva Mahotsav, Pune Festival, Pune Marethon, Arrenging health camp, educational camp around pune in adiwasi area (TRiabal area).
The result of this beautifull Maharastra / Gujarat is on;y reason of sacrifice of local people, dedication towards their work ( See The figures of Corruption Cases registered in NORTH INDIAN STATES/CRIMONAL CASES)
Afterefforts of the government of respected states, sacrifice of our people it is become possible to for these states to reach at this stage %u2026
Maharshtrian as well as gujarathi people expected the fact at beginning that there is surplus of jobs available
