Mindless Bihar Politicians
by tushar suryavanshi on Oct 22, 2008 07:21 PM  Permalink

Stop critisizing maharashtra and it netas..its time for you corrupt politicians to think what you have done for your state(U.P & Bihar). People from u.p and bihar flock to mumbai in tons....Why cant you prepare an infrastructure for your people to retain them there..????There is a limit to every thing these agitation r not provoked there are coming out of frustration, of economic slowdown and lost jobs...take note of it.Develop your states, improve Law and Order and then give suggestions on how Maharashtra Government should perform. When only few students are hurt Bihar is burning ..Imagine HUNDREDS OF BIHARIS flocking different parts of Maharashtra Killing job opportunities for local residents. I hope against hope that CENTRAL GOVT and u.p & bihar Govt improve their performance..

Rationalised rural employment for unemployed masses in the states of India.. Saves BLOOD SHED AND INTERSTATE RIVALRIES.
by GRJ on Feb 17, 2008 04:18 PM | Hide replies

All the supporters of secularism should realise that the right to freedom has also the duty not to deprive others of their right to survival.....indirectly, migrating en masse without proper autghorisation and approval of thge host states or employment offers to earn livelihood without the approval of the local people are to be declared illegal.

The respective CMs and Governors of the state/states involved in this migration depriving citizens of other states are to be proceeded against legally or morally and pulled down from their seats of power.

They are non performers....and such should be relieved of their poosts as they are voted by the same people who are going through this struggle. Getting voted into seats and throwing such people's survival into other states is a disqualification.

But if a state needs work force for any of their projects they can be regularly recruited through the respective employment exchanges and allowed to take up labour oriented jobs after clearance from the local people and their minister of rural employment.

I hope Indian thinkers will think about this and support this kinbd of rationalised programme. Their people can question them and get redressal and mai

Long before there was %u2018monkey%u2019, sorry, %u2018maa ki...%u2019, there was %u2018bhaiya%u2019. The 1979 Ranji game between Bombay and Delhi at the Wankhede stadium witnessed the repeated chants of %u2018bhaiya%u2019 every time Madan Lal ran in to bowl. Ironically, a year or two later, as Madan Lal bowled India to a famous win on the same ground against England, the abuse turned to celebration. In a sense, the contrast was typically Bombay: warm, embracing and cosmopolitan at one level, but unforgiving, narrow-minded, and parochial at another. Mumbai has always been a Jekyll and Hyde city with a fleeting memory span. Madan Lal realised it three decades ago. Now, Amitabh Bachchan is being confronted with the grim reality: a much-loved global superstar one day, targeted as a migrant from Uttar Pradesh the next.
That Maharashtra Navnirman Sena leader Raj Thackeray has chosen to reveal the darker side of Mumbai in the last week should come as no surprise. For more than four decades now, Mumbai%u2019s carefree, %u2018bindaas%u2019 spirit (best exemplified in Johnny Walker crooning on Marine Drive %u201CAe dil he mushkil%u2019 in the 1950s) has wrestled with the forces of nativism and sectarian politics. In a city that prides itself on its comforting urbanism, violence and intimidation have always lurked in the shadows.
Long before Raj discovered the north Indian as the %u2018enemy within%u2019, his uncle Bal Thackeray had already uncorked the genie of militant

There is a limit to how many people Mumbai or Maharashtra can accommodate
by Attatar Yena on Feb 13, 2008 02:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There is a limit to how many people Mumbai or Maharashtra can accommodate. No doubt about that. Certainly these places cannot accommodate all of Bihar and UP and the question is why should they ?? Has anybody thought about this ?? It is high time that we the people of this country decide on this issue which has serious implications on all areas that affect quality of life. Raj Thakerey's protest against UP and Bihars (not all Northies as media says) is the first step in that direction. So why should Raj be blamed ??
When DMK supports LTTE why is there no concern about regionalism ??
When Akalis install the portrait of Gernail Singh Bihdrawale in Dam Dami Taksal (who wanted to break up India) why was there chilly silence among the desh Bhakts ??
When Bengalis openly rioted to protest against exclusion of Saurabh Ganguly from Indian Cricket team where were the media that cries foul against regionalism??
When Biharis were slaughtered in Assam why was media silent?? Where was all the love for biharis then ??
The truth is people from UP and Bihar have swamped the states like Delhi, Orissa, Assam, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Wherever they go they start behaving like they are in Azamgarh or Siwan. They do not respect the culture in which they go. Raj Thakeray's fight is against those that want to convert maharahstra into azamgarh or Siwan. This fight is not for jobs or resources but to maintain local culture and avoid lawlessness of UP and bihar.

Lalu, Mulayam, Nitish and Amarshing should drown in chulu bhar pani because it is their failure that people from UP and BIhar are flocking to other states. What have they done to improve the situation in UP and Bihar?? Before commenting on what is right and wrong these leaders should get out of their AC cars and mix with common people instead of partying with bollywood celebrities. Just ask what people of Orrisa, Delhi, Assam, and Rajasthan think about people from UP and Bihar and you will know why the Raj Thakeray got so much support in Maharashtra . As for Abu Azmi, he is ISI agent and a traitor. He incited muslim mob in mumbai to riot which directly lead to death of two policemen last year. People will not forget nor forgive traitor Abu Azmi.

WHAT IS NITISH Kr. DOING FOR HIS HUNGRY ELECTORATE. MAHARASHTRIANS HAVE THEIR OWN HUNGRY .WILL HE LOOK AFTER THEM???
by GRJ on Feb 12, 2008 08:54 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

When the problems are created bvy migrants depriving local hungry these things will happen Instead of getting the effected people arrested and taken to UP BIHAR AssAM, and punishing them Take the Hungry of UP BIHAR ASSAM to their states bvend the backs of your politicians and see that they get their 3 square meals in their own sae where they vote and elect politicians to solve their miseries.

Why should any one carry somebody's baby when their own baby is deprived of care???

In the guise of democracy dont loot other states when every state has to BLOODY WELL deliver goods. RIGHT TIME TO WAKE UP SLEEPING POLITICIANS.. THEY HAVE TO BUILD THEIR OWN STATE.....NOT GO TO OTHER STATES AND CREATE LAW AND ORDER PROBLEMS.... AND THEN WANT TO HANG OTHERS FOR SELF MISTAKES

This is the best solution to settle every hungry stomach in its own state where funds are available for their emancipation. Dont throw the hungry electorate kings to beg in other states. This philosophy is meant to every state's thinking. Stop being emotional and start feeding the poor of their states.

Forget false emotions.
Let great politicians like Nitish Kr, Lalu Prasad GET TO WORK. FEED THEIR OWN ELECTORATE.

Some people don't understand the common fact that people of U.P.and Bihar are working in the other states and their own states in all the levels, i.e. lower level, mid level and high level. They are also going to Europe, U.S. and other developed countries for better jobs, or better say, jobs best suited to them. They get jobs because they are better than others who applied for the jobs. No company is doing charity. People from other states are also found in Bihar and U.P. No state sends their hungry people to other states. Auto walas, construction workers and other lesser-salary people are doing their jobs and getting money out of their hard work., they are not stealing or begging. There are good people and bad people in all the states. As humans, we should help or at least understand each other's problems instead of bad mouthing.

Due to the intrinsic cultural diversity, each State in India cannot 'productively' govern more than 2 million citizens.
India should 'decentralize' 604 districts into States or Cantons as in Switzerland.

by Wall Street on Feb 11, 2008 03:57 PM  Permalink

India is a democracy and NOT meritocracy like Singapore.
Hence it is imperative to appreciate socio-economic and religious diversity in Governance(Legislature,Judiciary,Administration) and in
Private Institutions (Reliance, Infosys etc) in India.

Government of India should implement 'reservations' in Judiciary and in Private Institutions as per Caste Census in India.

1. 52% of Judges should be from OBC.
2. 29% Judges should be Dalits and Tribals.
3. Remaining Judges should be from other castes & religions.

Otherwise India will disintegrate into 500 princely states as in pre-British Empire era...
