Agreed too. Bcoz these bloody political parties don't understand that we marathis live elsewhere in India but nobody stops us from working there. These political parties our pulling our beautiful city of Mumbai down in every sense. I feel within next decade even the Chennai Stock Exchange will be the stock exchange rather then Bombay Stock exchange

Paresh bahut phatte mar letha hai tu. First of the total marathi population outside the state mostly remains confined to border areas in surrounding states. There are only the mentally challenged who would want to live in UP and Bihar, so dont blow hot air. I would just love to see 2 daily trainloads of packed bhaiyyas immigrating to Hyderabad, bangluru and chennai for the next 10 years. Then we shall see how these worthies who quote "indian nationalism" respond to. Frankly speaking i dont care of chennai stock exchange takes over, or if the new economic capital is Jhumri Taliya, we dont want any more bhaiyyas in our state.
No one opposes migration and and moving across the country but when people at a particular place are up in arms agianst something it is never without a reason, and surely its not for ecconomic reasons.
Its not the people from UP-Bihar that people in Maharashtra are complaining against, its the culture that they are getting from a backword state that they are getting in a developed state thats a grave problem.
1> Live with 10 people in single 10X10 room. 2> Deface and use the footpaths and railway tracks in Mumbai as if they are a big toilet. 3> Build continiously newer slums and juggis, so you may rehabilitate any number you still have new ones emerging. 4> Disrespect traffic and civic rules. as you never saw them in your native place there is no reason you need to follow them here too. 5> Eve tease women, molest them as in your native place women are dressed with a gonghat so if u see a girl in a fasionable clothing that is indeed her fault according to you.
6> When you try to create the same backwordness and sub standard living in UP-Bihar inside a developed and progressive Mumbai is the last thing anyone who cares for Mumbai and Maharashtra wishes for.

Why blame Raj Thakarey, I guess when UP Diwas or Bihar Goraw Din is celebrated with lacks of immigrants from UP-Bihar....on the streets of Hyderabad-Bangalore-Chennai...I am 100% sure the so called secular and national posters on this forumn will surely switch sides...!!!!!!

If you go around looking you would fine lot of big businesses which has been set up by north indians..actually it might be more than locals..and only reason they came to mumbai was because it was a coastal city and developed under british rule..other wise what was it before nothin..there's not even proper history.. as for the culture you are talkin about..if you get out of mumbai you'll see more cleaner cities with better infrastructure..Mumbai is a national embarrassment for a city it is..and it is always easy to blame outsiders...

Abhe sharma, bihar was the first industrialized state in the country. In 1950s bihar and UP had better stats than any state in the union. Their politicians messed it up. Till 1970s calcutta was the economic capital of India, their politicians messed it up. Bottom line is Marashtrians have toiled and spilled blood and sweat to build up the Mumbai-Pune region. We are not going to hand over the fruits of such labor to people who have not done anything to deserve it (northies). IF you feel there are better cities please take your northen buddies and move along.

You are contradicting your views. Mumabi is not best just because too many people are there without proper facility. That what MNS is conveying. If govt controls the flow of people then Mumbai will Shanghai within no time.
