I agree with what Ramasami says, do not give a blind and emotional response, think rationally and then act to improve the situation. Oh so are you the rascal who was trying to blank my message out. Any what category you put Raj into is none of my concern, but the facts are that Raj belongs to a state that has achieved some thing while others are BIMARU. Understand what I mean. To earn respect, these leaders need to do something worthwhile. Otherwise who will lose ordinary and illiterate people like your self, who sometimes fall prey to Islamic propoganda, and sometimes to cheap rhetoric of lalu, or mulayam, or nitish, or some other joker. IMPORTANT THING IS NOT IN CALLING PEOPLE NAMES BUT IN UNDERSTANDING THE FACTS, UNDERSTANDING THAT BIHAR UP ARE BACKWARD AND TRYING TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITION SO THAT LARGE SCALE MIGRATION STOPS.

There is a slang in Gujarat "Do not trust Miyan and Maratha". People understand 'Miya". now its Maratha. Never trust these ghathi. Look at even Bal thakre, so called Hindu icon (though I do not believe)who supported Pratibha Patil (SO basically Sonia Gandhi) and left Hindutva for a moment. Also this is the same family who organized the Michel Jackson tour to India and where were those Sainik who occasionally disrupt normal people life over the cultural issue?

how can one stop rituals like chhat puja anywhere. if an indian like sikhs eg., is debarred from following his tradition like wearing turban,etc. in european countries, every indian feel angered. but here in our own india, in one state, they r against ppl from other states following their rituals. what a tragedy!

U r 100 % right.Look at Gujarat,haryana,punjab,tamilnadu 4 positive development. Jai Hind.
It puts maharashtrians, whom I believe are among the most broad-minded people, in bad light. I lived in Mumbai for over three years and can definitely say that they are amazing people. I wish that politicians like Raj dont mess that image. We all have a common cause to fight for.. and its definitely not regionalism. Grow up Mr. Raj. Dont waste your energy for a wrong cause.

correction - the 'cause' isnt wrong venkat.. the approach is.. the cause is to control migration.. Mumbai is now an overblown balloon which can burst any time.. UP and Bihar are lagging behind.. People are migrating.. Mumbai cannot cope up infrastructurally.. As a marathi i feel that this migration needs to stop.. i can go on and on, anyway, lets keep that for later.. cheerio..
