Shame to nation

All Indians should know that there is one state in north corner of India with such a pathetic law and order and educaton systems. These poeple should learn from Gujrat, Maharashtra, Karnataka. Forget of education. These poeple need the education about 'how to live in civilized society'.

Just one article has prompted you to say a lot about "living in civilized society ". If you are an India, you must be knowing that the Indian civilization has roots in the area you are bashing to bloat the petty ego of your insignificant soul. We Biharis need not learn anything from any Gujarati, Marathi or Kannadiga. We will develop under the able leadership of present government, and enemies will be able to do nothing but bark here and there.
This article uses the statement->"In Bihar, the use of unfair means in examinations is a rampant practice. Not only students, parents also demand the right to use such means during examinations. ".
The above statement is completely false, and you must see how many Biharis are there in IITs/IIMs and how many are IASs.

I am saying in context of India. I am only stating a view of a Indian and not representing any state. Most of poeple clearly percieve Gujrat, maharashtra, karnataka as progessve states. Most of poeple of this world perceive bihar has serious law and orde, attitude problems ( this may not aply to all poeple because there are always exceptions. But they are too few in bihar ). Ego is the thing that prevents one from seeing ones drawbacks. I have seen a lot of students studing hard for ITT and IIM in Delhi. They do get that. But they are suceessful only OUTSIDE on Bihar and not inside.
Because these poeple may be exceptions which are in every society. Have you seen they are striving to change the face of state they love. I know these people themselves afraid of going to bihar because of threat of extortion. If poeple from bihar are 'very civilized' then why not the state of Bihar' is so civilized. The social reforms never happened there unlike most of suthern and western states.
Poeple of bihar should seriously watch thenselves should try to find out why world look at them like what it is. As a indian I do like to see Bihar progessing fast.

Without outsiders - Bombay will be a sleepy corrupt mofussil town like Ratnagiri or Kolhapur. People must learn to live with harmony and sense of accommodation of all cultures. People who raise issues of religion , caste or region have only one place - City Central Jail.

Education system is fail
by praveen c on Feb 03, 2008 02:48 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I believe students are right to say that if classes are not conducted properly then that should be corrected first before any strict rule at exam center.
If the education system is week then make the question appropriate to answer with open book exam.
Nothing wrong is self learning and implementing it. After all its a law where they need to reffer books all the time.

I'm sure Abhi dear hasn't even seen the gate of either an IIT or an IIM. There are hardly any Bihari's there. I've been to an IIT and an IIM.
The fact is that there are a lot of them 'studying' for IIT and IIM, but hardly does anyone get in.
Personally, I feel that ALL the students on the rampage should be failed in the papers.
