As per BBC, 80% of the Indians live on 20 rupees (25p) a day.
news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/6946800.stm
20.00 INR = 0.511247 USD as per xe.com

And do NOT expect a civilized society in India...

Shame on us!!!
We claim to be learned, know history...
We have so many point to counter each other, but we forget this was the reason why 'BRIGHT' 'QUALITY' 'CIVILISED' foreigners ruled us for centuries.. give that a thought mr. asdf ...abhi..raj....and a to Z
to me the culprits are certain elements in our political system that want us to fight and help malicious designs of power and madness.
Answer me a question.. if a part of your body goes BIMAAR... do u ignore it.... get this if you go a point will come when the wound becomes gangrene..then we have amputation and the whole body is crippled.
even if some other parts are excellent.. the person will be handicapped..
I am afraid we are trying to do this to ourselves and our future generations by giving into this crap..

this is the result of laloo's reign.
now nda is doing the ill away...just an example of how difficult it is to mend sth wrong in the past. it is because they get habituated to living in that easy life. similarly it will be very difficult to undo reservations in education...similar protests will follow

This is serious...

Let them copy or discuss whatever. The nature of exam is to be altered. These young kids can be corrected only by that way. May be 50 different set of multiple choice questions - too many to be filled in within a certain time. Let it be a open book test with full support of co-operation.

Well half of them might be coolie exam writers ( they write the exam onbehalf)...Bihar is famous for such practice... some degree holders have never been to college.

Why should Raj be blamed for fomenting regionalism ??
When DMK supports LTTE why is there no concern about regionalism ??
When Akalis install the portrait of Gernail Singh Bihdrawale in Dam Dami Taksal ( who wanted to break up India) why was there chilly silence among the desh Bhakts ??
When Bengalis openly rioted to protest against exclusion of Saurabh Ganguly from Indian Cricket team where were the those who cry foul agaist regionalism ??
The truth is people from UP and Bihar have swamped the states like Delhi, Orissa, Assam, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Wherever they go they start behaving like they are in Azamgarh or Siwan. They do not respect the culture in which they go. Raj Thakeray's fight is against those that want to convert maharahstra into azamgarh or Siwan. This fight is not for jobs or resources but to maintain local culture and avoid lawlessness of UP and bihar.
Lalu and Amarshing should take a dip in chulu bhar pani because it is their failure that people from UP and BIhar are flocking to other states. What have they done to improve the situation in UP and Bihar ?? Before commenting on what is right and wrong these leaders should get out of their AC cars and mix with common people instead of partying with bollywood celebrities . Just ask people of Orrisa, Delhi, Assam, Rajasthan about people from UP and Bihar and you will know why the Raj Thakeray got so much support. As for Abu he is ISI agent. Govt should expedite pending criminal cases against him.
