Indians Please UNITE
by on Feb 08, 2008 11:40 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is so unfortunate that we as Indians fight against each other. What I see here is something that is morally wrong , copying in exams. We should not classify it as only Bihari's doing it. It happens everywhere. People, please stop fighting against each other and try to sort out the differences and bring up this nation. 1 billion people and counting. We cannot have these many people throwing swords against each other. Indians are definitely amongst the smartest people in the world. What India lacks is opportunity to display those talents which causes frustration and hatred. Politicians, if not all of them, are bothered about their political stand and power they can amass in any possible way. I hope people stand up and realize what this country is capable of. If united this country can become the worlds biggest super power in no time. Let it be Jai Hind instead of a Jai Maharashtra / Jai Bihar n etc!

Regarding LTTE - yes they were wrong in killing rajiv gandhi. We all hate them for the mistake they had done. But ask why ?
Tamilians were living before british took them for plantations. Singalese are mongolian desends who came to srilanka before 1100 years. When they landed they saw lot of tamilians in srilanka. There population grew more than tamils and ended up being majority. When one section of the people ill treat other minority sections there come liberation fight, fight for justice. Indian govt supported them for so many years. With rajv gandhi getting into peace agreement our indian army was made to confront LTTE by singalese tactics of false attacks. Indian army went into a full fledged war against our own people. Indian born descendents were bombed with 50 tonnes bombs of RDX. There numbers came down. Because of heavy casualities on both ends Indians withdrew from srilanka. Singalese weekened the LTTE by using Indian army. Meantime they got all the latest fighter aircrafts. Do you know people listen to our radio and news channel using cycle dynamos by pedalling the standing cycles?. They are all our blood. If once LTTE is gone in Srilanka which is eventual due to lack of support from india - indians original owners of srilanka will be killed altogether.
yes it is a organisation which give terror to srilankans who illegally rape their kids, women

Why should Raj be blamed for fomenting regionalism ??
When DMK supports LTTE why is there no concern about regionalism ??
When Akalis install the portrait of Gernail Singh Bihdrawale in Dam Dami Taksal ( who wanted to break up India) why was there chilly silence among the desh Bhakts ??
When Bengalis openly rioted to protest against exclusion of Saurabh Ganguly from Indian Cricket team where were the those who cry foul agaist regionalism ??
The truth is people from UP and Bihar have swamped the states like Delhi, Orissa, Assam, Maharashtra and Rajasthan. Wherever they go they start behaving like they are in Azamgarh or Siwan. They do not respect the culture in which they go. Raj Thakeray's fight is against those that want to convert maharahstra into azamgarh or Siwan. This fight is not for jobs or resources but to maintain local culture and avoid lawlessness of UP and bihar.
Lalu and Amarshing should take a dip in chulu bhar pani because it is their failure that people from UP and BIhar are flocking to other states. What have they done to improve the situation in UP and Bihar ?? Before commenting on what is right and wrong these leaders should get out of their AC cars and mix with common people instead of partying with bollywood celebrities . Just ask people of Orrisa, Delhi, Assam, Rajasthan about people from UP and Bihar and you will know why the Raj Thakeray got so much support. As for Abu he is ISI agent. Govt should expedite pending criminal cases against him.

hi
I am not from any parties. People who do daily labour makes the low segment people in Maharashtra dont get jobs which is taken by biharis and UP. This is the major problem.

One suggestion to maharastrians - learn and do jobs of governing these people rather than work as slaves.

Maharastrians are very poor in education which makes them do normal labour. It all boils down to the lack of education and because of lack of intelligence. It is high time you grow your skills and get employed. Reservation of any form will drive the private companies away from your state.

So learn and get educated.

'Maharashtrians lack education and are not intelligent enough!'

You are making a very BRAVE and DANGEROUS statement here, buddy! Think atleast twice before making such stuppid comments!

hey you dumb head marathi manus.... in 70's you were fighting against south indians, then you started with Muslims and now with north indians and bihari's...can't you figure out that no politician is fighting for marathi or so called mumbaikars... they are doing all this for there own self. Name one mumbaikar who's relatives are not staying outside maharashtra... Same problem if they start facing by getting beaten up and thrown out of there respective place how would you feel..

Maharashtra and Mumbai, in particularly, have experienced large in-flow of migrants coming from outside since last 40 yrs. And it has been welcome and was well recieved for quite long time. But, there is limit to every thing. The system is about to break-down with this gr8 in-flow.

Has your home-state or city hosted so many outsiders as that of mumbai ?

'Doing the thing yourself and Expecting it from other person' are two very different thing, my friend!

no one should take pride in calling names for region, language, area. religion other than their own as one should think over the issue in comprehensive and wholesome context rather than intrinsic, short sighted and with coloured approach..
we indiand need to improve a lot in behaving socially and responsiblyand abstain from commenting their brethern in bad taste

Do Not worry Friend, Very soon Raj thakrey would want you too outside maharastra, tommorrow laden would want you outside asia, day after some other Gentleman would want you outside the world. STOP & THINK, though demanding any unfair support is absurd but that is common amongst all of us, let us stop branding a state or a section of society for this & ALSO should refrain from contributing to the great Indian Divide.

The is the most stupid argument I've heard in my entire life-time.
Do you advocate a similar thing in the Indian cricket team as well?? Well if your answer is yes then all I can say is that it is because of casteist people like you that India is still not caste free.
I know of my friends who aren't using their caste to their advantage, even when they can and hence they are excelling in life.

Hi, This was the most genuine piece of lietrary argument I have ever read. PLease come forwrad MY dear frined and Vow that going forward you & your family will get your medical treatment only by an OBC Doctor, you will get your house built by an OBC engineer, you will get youe kids taught in an OBC school from an OBC teacher, You will get your car repaired only from an OBC mechanic, you will report any crime / burgulary against you only in an OBC Thana to an OBC inspector. All Hail this great man who will contibute all his family waelth to the welfare of OBC and will work day an night for the upliftment of OBC to save india from getting divided into 500 princely states.

if we implement what you are asking for, India will be a HELL...already the OBCs and SC/STs are wasting the quota allotted to them...only a very few percentage of them are passing out successfully from the institutions...firstly, the quota system should be removed from India...if at all there is any quota, it should be based on the economic condition of the student and not based on caste..

You want reservations in private sector also...oh man...so, you never want the so-called backward community to compete with others in a straight and bold manner...Indian private companies are doing well than Govt only bcos they have merit based in-take...if reservation is implemented in private sector Indian economy will droop down and eventually die...

The core issue is CASTE politics in India...
by usa on Feb 03, 2008 09:29 PM  Permalink

Casteism aka Hinduism in India is nothing but a covert mask of socio-economic Collusion.

Vote only for candidates from your Caste.
Do NOT care if he is Corrupt/Competent.

And just watch the Magic...

The current status is:

Kerala - C/o Gulf
Tamilnadu - No Comments
Andhra Pradesh - Telangana movement
Karnataka - Ask Tamilnadu
Bihar,UP - Their weapons are sophisticated than Indian Army's
Bengal - Chinese will listen.
Seven sister states - Instant death if you are non-assamese.
Punjab - Khalistan
Kashmir - Kidding?
Rajasthan - They call you 'Paradesi'.
Maharastra - Vidarbha movement.
UP - Bundelkhand, Poorvanchal etc
...

Due to the intrinsic cultural diversity, each State in India cannot 'productively' govern more than 2 million citizens.
India should 'decentralize' 604 districts into States or Cantons as in Switzerland.
