INDIA WILL BE GREAT, OR WOULD HAVE BEEN THE GREATEST, BY 1960, ONLY IF THE PARTITION BUSINESS WAS FULLY FINISHED BY NEHERU, IN SHORT, THE INDIA SHOULD HAVE BEEN 100% NON MUSLIM

Which is not possible you cannot stop the flow of your own blood which has muslims Gene inside it.
Similarly Pakistan cannot take out Hindus completely from pakistan. They cannot stop there flow of blood which is hindu.

by lalit kedia on Aug 14, 2008 02:38 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Dear sir,
you were president of this republic for 5 years and we find it very satisfying to note that you still want to spread the values you always loved.
what we need in india is a nodal agency to get all citizen who believes in this values and cares for the country.
could citizen like you get together and provide a platform where working people like me can join and contribute in our way without getting into politics.
what I believe is that we need a movement for
1. spreading message among all citizen of this country so that they do not elect leaders on the lines of caste, religion, region or out of fear.
2. How can we start universal education so that in next 10 years we have more than 90% literacy and we take the techonology to each village.
3. wipe out criminals from elected representative.
4. Comprehensive infrastructure development with the help of private enterpreneurs.
5. a MISSION to achieve Developed status by 2020.

with respect and regards

lalit kedia

A P J Abdul Kalaam CAN'T DO WONDERS, Your expectations are too high, He is a simple & straight person, an intellectual, by all means.
"IT IS THE YOUTH OF THIS COUNTRY WHO HAVE TO DO THIS" but Alas! they are busy in chasing & adopting the "ILLS" of western culture, They do not want to "ADOPT" their GOOD "QUALITIES"!

I fully agree that my expectations are high but expecting the youth to come out strongly for above values needs a platform which needs to be lead by a prominent , acceptable, honest leadership.
people like me are busy with daily grind since you need to earn for the family to survive.
I am only sending a urnest appeal to honest and person with integrity to come together and get rid od criminal politicians, spread universal education etc.

Lets all get together and boycott this year's Independence Day to show our protest against the policies of central govt. and H'ble governor of J&K; and to show our moral support to the people of Jammu.

Well that is not a solution! What Independence Day has done that YOU need to boycott it. Be LOGICAL and fight against APPEASEMENT POLICY of the GOVT. & throw them out from POWER.

Don't get excited man. It's our Independence Day not that of the Govt. Boycott Govt functions if you are so agitated but not the Independence Day. It's nothing short of treason. Even the people of Jammu whose cause you are advocating are carrying aloft the Indian tricolour even during the protests. Learn from them.

WHEN INDIA WILL BE A GREAT NATION
by Jasad Dusty on Aug 14, 2008 02:23 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

You can write pages and pages about the greatness of India but India will only be great when an NRI returning to his home for some rest and recreation passes through the various barriers without harassment and without dishing out bribes to officials and all sorts of touts right from the airport upto his small village.

NRI's should learn to live & BEHAVE graciously, & CONTRIBUTE in progress of INDIA. You do not come back for RECREATION or REST. You come back to meet your own people, who are happy & trying to OVERCOME their SHORT COMINGS.
