Rajni is a entertainer , its really not correct to say he is a good actor.But Kamal hasan is a good actor . he showed his talent not only in south but in bollywood also. so Kamal is a better actor than Rajni.

He is considered as universal, like how gandhi considers himself common to both india and pakistan. SO it hurts the other side, if one of these personalities suddenly take sides.. First of all, we all should get out of this water mess irrespective of we being tamils or kannadigas and take a india centric stand.. A language should not decide who should live and who should die because of water.. A life is a life after all..

Well we may not be able to get a consensus on who is the best actor in India, but atleast we can agree that Amitabh, Rajni, Chiru, Kamal, SRK are all global stars and have played a great role in bringing Indian cinema on the world map. Lets for a couple of moments celebrate all these great men atleast for the next couple of days. We can resume fighting Amitabh V Rajni, North V South on 16th ;)

Do you think these jokers took Indian cinema to the world or people like Ray, Ghatak, Adoor, Bhansali (for Black only)? Read reviews from some of the internationally renowned cine critics and you would see that Chiru, Rajni, SRK are jokers in their books. You might say, why should we listen to "international" critics? Fair argument ... but in that case lets not even talk about taking Indian cinema to the world. These critics play an important role in making cinema acceptable world-wide. To take cinema to the doors of the world their blessings are critical. The same way we need a political leader in US to support outsourcing to India. We cannot ignore international critics. Lets see some of the comments below regarding Indian cinema:

Well not all movies are meant for critical aclaim, there have been movies like Welcome, even Singh is King, which were torn apart by Indian critics leave alone international ones, but these movies have already gone on to become the highest grossers. And about the random comments from certain critics u mentioned above, i can provide such details about hollywood movies too where hollywood movies are ripped apart. Its just the way we look at it, agreed we do make some average films, but which industry doesnt. West has always looked down upon the east, this isnt restricted to movies. Just because some white guy says that Indian movies/stars are good for nothing doesnt mean we should blindly accept it.
