I know it's easy to get angry. As a Hindu I myself am very wary of fundamentalist Islam.
I am not saying that you have to buy into the whole "Islam is a religion of peace" idea - this is a free country after all! We don't all have to be Kabirs and go around preaching love and peace.
But I do urge that even as your tempers run high, even as you criticize and express your anger, you behave with the DIGNITY and PRIDE that becomes an Indian.
Do NOT stoop to lowly insults and mindless prejudices against a major Indian religion. It is an UN-INDIAN thing to do - it's the equivalent of spitting at our national tricolor and our constitution that guarantees EQUALITY and DIGNITY to all Indian citizens.
Well over hundred million Indians are Muslims. Demand accountability and answers if you must - as Indians, we all have responsibilities to each and and to our country.
But do this without attacking our fellow countrymen based on their religion. The idea of India doesn't somehow uphold itself magically - we all must deliberately defend it. Every time you stoop to bigotry, however, India dies a little - keep that in mind.
If a Muslim majority state (area) of the secular-Inida does not give land to a minority religion in that state (area), people in other states will react (sooner or later) using the same principle in the their areas. For example, people in Maharashtra, Tamilnadu, UP, Punjab etc can react by asking for not allowing land to minority religions there. I am seeing that the politions are not looking for the country and thus such reactions can not be avoided. We are already seeing so many reactions by the people due to the "inaction of goverment due to their appeasement policies"; goverment is building even more grounds for future reactions. Down with all the political parties as none have raised the implication of the Amarnath issue in proper perspective. When a particular political party starts using this (goverment's improper logic of cancelling land) for political gains, even media will start branding that party as communal. We have got great intellectual bankrupcy in India. Why not any minority commission or any minority supporter speaking for possible loss of minority moral group in other states? Only answer is, in the current Indian system, anything said or done by Muslims is Secular (this has become the definition of indian-secularism)???

we have to think positive and be fare and see the root cause of the agitation really it is the matter of land but now it is the matter of our respect, actually the people of jammu province are the second class citizons in J&k. I request the govt centre/state to be fare as the jammu people has bear a lot .We the pople of jammu are not gealous with kashmiri's but we want our share. See the records you will understand the things clearely every body nows even our politicians Know.This is the fault of our jammu based politicians but know they will give answer.
It is cheap politics of Congress that we have to see this day. Eliminate article 360 and eliminate separate constitution of J&K immediately. If they do not want to integrate even after 60 yrs then they should be thrown out of the Indian land or eliminated without trace.
Very true Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad. Hindus have been losers for so long, that no reaction was expected from them. Any way we have enough Fraud Secularists in this country who will support you !! Hindus are specialists in keeping quiet when they are plundered - they did the same thing when Ghazni plundered Somnath and several Mughals plundered Hindu temples. One old building is brought down and hell breaks loose - why, because it happens to be called Babri masjid. You keep giving concessions to Kashmir - keep giving grants to Kashmir - yet they will say "we are not part of India" - Sajid Lone has the gall to say that he wants trifurcation of J&K . Why did PDP first allocate the land and then take it away? Did you ask Mufti Md Sayeed, Mr Azad?? You took it for granted that Hindus will keep quiet and you were so right -- apart from the Hindus in Jammu,no one else is doing a thing! Once in a while the world will surprise you Mr Azad - even Hindus will fight back once in a while! Let us see where this ends.
People like Mehooba Mufti, Omar Mirwaiz are just hungry for power, they are misguiding kashimiris muslim and using them to just gain power.
Second thing they are behaving as if kashmir has been totally a seperate state and kashmiris have been made huge favour bieng staying india.
It really make no nense as indian media hyping and giving too much attention people like Mufti and Mirwaiz. These people blame indian and Jammu bieng communual, and forget of kashimiris pandit were evacuated and people like because of harrasement mindset of Mufti and Mirwaiz. When they speak on Television it looks like small kids fighting for their toys and not ready to listen to others.
I hope there should be sensible youths in kashmir who should understand all indians treat and believe they are as same us and believe in govt. The seperatists have brain wash the youth over their.
Seperatists are talking about crossing LOC,i wish they leave just now and never come back.
