Rediff is slowing becoming a Congress mouthpiece
by arindam mhatre on Aug 08, 2008 01:18 AM  Permalink

As is the typical with political stories in Rediff these days, this story is written clearly with an anti-BJP slant. Rather than investigate the suspicious role played by CNN-IBN in this sordid episode, rediff is busy attempting to malign the BJP in every story. Add to this the activist minority of "secularist" writers on the rediff message boards who keep on defending the Congress and smearing the BJP with low-class insults when actually there is nothing indefensible about bribing for votes. This should be obvious to anyone with some common sense. However, spinning the 'obvious' and defending the indefensible is a speciality of this "secularist" breed, so it's no surprise that the activist minority of BJP-bashers (which includes rediff) are out in full force justifying this sordid cash-for-vote scam and throwing some of the cheapest insults at anyone who actually sees the truth and calls a spade a spade.

No investigation needed ???
by Keerikkadan on Aug 08, 2008 01:12 AM  Permalink

The accuser's do not want an enquiry, isnt that strange?

BJP successfully changed the topic of discussion from their loss to a bunch of notes (probably bribes they might have taken earlier) on voting day.

Now they want to close the case.
Its a lesson to all those who where blaming congress and supporting BJp on this board.

Every indian party is screwed up.

BJP game
by submitter on Aug 07, 2008 11:18 PM  Permalink

well there is a famous saying

You can make some ppl fool for a very long time
You can make all the ppl for a short time

You can not make all the ppl for a vert long time...

infact the motto of state of India says..

Satya Mev Jayate.

so hope... truth will prevail.
Although I have doubt whenver BJP is caught red handed

they mix falsehood with truth, make halla gulla and try to create confusion/ambiguity

slap on upper caste dominated BJP
by Twilight on Aug 07, 2008 10:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I found some very good messages and argument put forward by gentlemen who have found that BJP is a bunch of goons whose sole aim is to loot India's wealth and continue immoral and unethical manuwadi schemes. They are bunch of bloody hypocrites who in fact always wanted to shake hands with US but after US kicked them on their butts and labelled them as terrorist outfits they panicked and resorted to gundgiri and riots in Karnataka and Gujrat to keep themselves in power.I call responsible Indian citizens to unite and flush manuwadi thinking thru their toilets as it is hampering India's growth in every respect.Lets call for a law that will delete Surname and replace it with "INDIAN" for every Indian, dum hai kisi mein...is anyone out there with me??

Vote in Parliament
by Prakash Asrani on Aug 07, 2008 10:42 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Ever since Govt got thru' the vote in Parliament, all knickerwalas and their fellow travellers are venting their frustration in rediff messages. 82 year old budhavoo LK Advani has got so much distressed after 3 failed attempts to somehow occupy PM's chair that he seems to have lost his marbles. After all, even if BJP/NDA members were purchased to vote for govt or to abstain, the question is how did BJP/NDA got such "BIKAU" members elected? Why are these knickerwalas crying hoarse when their three attempts to dislodge govt by falling on the feet of Mulayam Singh etc failed. Everything is fair in war and it was a war unleashed by Chinese stooges communists to curry favors from their masters. And so called Nationalist party thought they got finally a chance to anoint 82 year old budhavoo. And what a slap they got from their own MPs. When BJP/NDA
MPs could be purchased for sponsoring questions in Parliament, what is so bad about their selling themselves for voting for the govt? Let knickerwalas not shed unnecessary tears since we all know that everything in this country is "BIKAU' unless these tears are showing frustration at being upstaged by Mayawati in Pm in waiting game.

100% correct.

A party whose president was taking bribes in front of national TV is accusing others of corruption.

BJP simply is frustrated. They have no agenda, no plan, no good leadership and hence is resorting to such things.

Asrani and Tom Cruise:

Thanx for the expert comments. Let's leave the question whether there is agenda, leadership, budhavoo, last chance etc. in the capable hands of the electorate, shall we?

Else many readers are increasingly being forced to believe that political history is being created by idlers like you two, deciding which party is good and which is down in dumps... :-)
