USA is a nation with lots of mandatory and veto powers. Of all the nations of world, USSR (now Russia / CIS) was a Superpower against USA. Then it became that Muslim Nations of Mid-east are troubling USA. But the case is that India has been Third world leader with nearly 131 nations behind her. India eversince having found its feet in international arena has been annoying USA and hampering American designs throughout world. It is off late that India has sidelined its long lasting frind Russia and is now friendly with USA but again India is optimizing for WTO policies which does not suit USA. There are other instances where India has reservations against USA but Indians are smartly playing down these reservations at the moment. It therefore is fact that what is actually a half hearted affair, problems are to sprout at any level anytime. And this is what the Indo-USA Civil Nuke Deal has gone through in India. Now viewing from American point of view, it is visualized multi folds. USA never wants a confrontation with China on any account. With India, USA sees India as a natural nation which alone could stand in way of Asia Domineering Chinese Nation. It is essential that USA leashes China in international arena for which liberties are being ushered on India. What India would benefit from USA is in the coming years Indian PM & Indian Prez would take permissions from USA authorities before doing any works. And off course this is where Indian sovereignity would subjugate USA.

Sanjeev... Your point about USA using India is correct. however today India too is exploiting this relationship with USA to its advantage. Imagine a situation... for the next 10 years we develop at 10% p.a. by 2020 we have been able to reduce poverty. Increase the Literacy rate to 95%. India is a developed country. Now in this case do you think India will still be in a position to be used by some other country aganist china? Absolutely not! Something similar happened with lot of European countries after the 2nd world war.USA used them to its advantage against soviet union and the european countries used USA to their advantage. Its perfectly normal..win win situation.

Crazy (I don't know your name)..... Yes it is a Win Win situation and it beter be that. And we better make the most out of this USA. And if USA twists our arms once, we beter twist it thrice and leave it fractured as our Bollywood is famous for. The HIV / AIDS gift and Indian porn sites and Indian girls loosing their virginity before marriage are all because of these foreigners and few Indians who have glorified India for its Kamsutra. Becoming friends with USA is still undigestable after realizing that Indian Womanhood is now bare and nude. We have no clothes and girls prefer lingeries and Whispers and their beautuiful insides. And then there is this terrorism in India taking tolls in lakhs. If we Indians after all this don't get more than what you have replied to me, then we are not Indians at all. We better make everything count. And we have to shed tears when our Army personnels would be laying their life against future Chinese invasions. It is heavy politics in which India is now involved with. We are there - our Indian women are bare and nude. We have to see strongly of getting trillion dollars from this deal. If we end in lurch because of Hyde Act,123 Agrement and India testing nuclear missiles, we would be a nation of sissies. And better shout full throttle at Mallika Sherawat, Madhuri Dixt and Meenakshi Seshadre if such a thing happens. We gave all our love, affection, care, comforts, name, fame, money; name it and it was all there for them. And they spatted on us.

Don't compare the Congress of 1940s to the post independence unprincipled Congress. Upto 1940 or so, all Congressmen were principled people. After that, when it became clear that we r going to get independence, greedy and selfish people joined the party and many good people left it after independence. Gandhiji had therefore, advised to dissolve the Congress Party, as earlier it was a group of all patriotic peole having different views and systems. But Nehru did not dissolve it.
Congress has ruled the country for most of the time. So naturally it has to take the blame for most of the country's problems.
It does not hv any internal democracy and now runs on the whims of Sonia Parivar, which can b very dangerous due to her Italian origin. Her father was also in dictator Mussolini's military and Italy is famous for its mafias. In some places like Sisily, they hv parallel govt.
Congress has already surpassed the dubious bribing record of PVN Rao for winning trust vote. They hv been running the govt with only 145/545 seats by making opportunistic post poll alliances just for ruling the country.

Ram Sharma ji, there always will have objection and plus and negetive, but for political mileage objecting is not good. Regarding bribary BJP and their comrades are not good as is. George Fernadas even taken bribary from Coffin, BJP President openly taken Bribery, also Petrol pump scam, Gujarat violence, khandahar etc., so no whitecolar is there.

I don't understand what u mean by saying 'for political mileage objecting is not good', bcz I am not a politician nor am I blind supporter of any party. I had voted for Congress, CPM & BJP at different times. Though I consider that the present Congress is one of the worst parties, as it has given rise to dynastic parties in the country. Regarding bribery, BJP did not bribe any MP for their trust vote, which they lost by one vote, earlier also BJP govt lasted for 13 days, but they did not bribe anyone. Don't blame George Fernandes. He is one of the cleanest politicians in India. For Kandahar BJP cannot b blamed. It was just like any other terrorist hijacking.
As regards corruption, yes people from all parties r involved in it, but we hv to choose the less corrupt amongst them. Recently MPs from both sides were contacted for cross voting, but those of Left were not contacted, which proves that they would not go for bribes. Left, with 59 MPs also never demanded any ministry, though all coalition partners, even one man Parties, generally fight to get powerful ministries. Noone from left voted against party directive. But this happened in other parties, which shows how honest or dishonest people of these parties r.
Congress has surpassed its own record of PVN Rao bribing in the Loksabha by bribing many more MPs.

Aam Admi is most affected by inflation. Big traders gain during inflation, as they can sell their hoarded goods at higher rates, when prices increase and make more profit. Rich and high middle class r not affected, as they can absorb its shock. Following measures r required for taming galloping inflation.
1. Stop forward trading in essential items. Big traders hoard lot of goods to artificailly increase prices. Left had been demanding this for a long time.
2. Increase taxes drastically on sale of cars. Petrolium is to b imported for all the vehicles. Roads all over the country r already getting jammed due to lot of vehicles. These vehicles also create pollution.
3. Reduce taxes on bicycles. Provide separate lane for cycles for safety, as is the case in Japan, Germany, Holland, France etc.
4. Hand / Bullock carts should b allowed in market areas and banned on main roads.
5. Govt should propagate the virtues of simple living through all types of medias.
6. For long term solution, implement one child norm forcefully, as is being doen in China since 1979. We've only 2.4% of world's land but already hv 16% of its population, which is still increasing @1.6%, compared to 0.6% of China. Poor Muslims and poor people of Hindi belt r mostly responsible for the population increase.
7. Levy tax on rich farmers. Politicians misuse this facility of not taxing agricultural income.

yes sony, you are right. give it back to the Kashmiri Hindu pandits who are languishing in relief camps in the valley's because of Muslim Terrorism since 1991.
Well, truely speaking, as on today I am quite ambiguous in supporting one party. But I surely will stand by one man Mr. MMS and support this deal.
Let's at least supoosrt one guy who's trying his best for the betterment of this country...... similarly what he has done in Banking few years back. I am also sure that Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and few of the senior leaders do not understand a bit about deal but its not about deal buts about the forign Investment and jobs in coming future.

Though there is no surety that nuclear power will b cheap or not. But one fact is certain, it will fill the coffers of corrupt politicians. Their bank balance in Switzerland, Italy etc will definitely increase.
