Toothless SC
by Anand YNI on Aug 04, 2008 03:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I do not know about the composition of the SC benches nor the way these benches function. However, I expect justice not only to be done but seen to be done also. Why this double standard by the SC? Just imagine ordinary mortals like us defying the SC court even for one day (forget one year!). We would be put behind the bars without trial.

In Kannada there is a saying, "Gubbi mele Brahmastave? SC is fit only to shoot the most powerful weapon on the sparrows, and not Karunanidhis.

Improper Attitude
by Akshaya Nayak on Aug 04, 2008 02:59 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Feelings of other community and the other individuals should be respected by the others, it is the saying of Greatman. However the ruling of Apex Court sacking Karunanidhi is the result of attitudinal behaviour of Mr.Karunanidhi. However the time has now been changed but the mind set up of the People has adhering the traditional views and aspects, which should be respected and honoured by others specifically by the Interested Politicians. This is the wake up call for everyone to be alert not to be playing against the sentiments of other Community, if not we have to face the chaotic situation in a disorderly manner. The mind set up have to be changed in the current aspect and the developmental project is to be done after the proper census. The mind set up of the people is to be properly guided by the Politicians to have a proper understandings. Oh God show the proper path and guidance to the interested Politicians to guide this problem in a proper manner.

If you think that by pressing for the Sethu project...Karunanidhi wants only to hurt Hindus and consolidate his votes..then you are wrong!
For this project he can leave politics also if somebody offers him the approval...It is about millions of dollars money involved in this project which several people including Karunanidhi wants to gulp!

Karunanidhi s political clout at Centre and enjoys Humiliating Hindus
by S S on Aug 04, 2008 02:57 PM  Permalink

A few weeks ago, Tamil Nadu’s CM had put on hold the Hogenakal Scheme stating that it would be taken up only after the formation of the government in Karnataka.
Even after the formation of the government he is not in a hurry to press the issue. Now that the UPA Government has won the trust vote he has given a ‘go ahead’ for the continuation of the project without consulting Yeddyurappa. The Centre has all of a sudden come up with a view that Lord Rama had destroyed the bridge himself and that no religious sanctity needs be attached to the issue.
The speed with which the issue was taken up right after the trust vote speaks volumes about the clout wielded by Karunanidhi at the Centre even though he is heading a minority government. If every minority party takes advantage of the contribution made by them to win the trust vote, who will take care of States ruled by other parties? And where is democracy?

Hello, Mr.Krishna. Who said that Karuna is the champion of secularism? He is the champion of anti-hinduism and anti-brahmnism! You want to provoke him - just utter the word `brahmin' in his presence and see his reaction. It is worth it!

The opposite is also true. Just utter the work 'Kalaignar' in a brahmin's presence and see their reaction. It will be worth it.

Brahmins are not heroship like you people. You are following MK, Rajnikant, Kushboo, and so on. I don't think Tamil Brahmins do hero worship. They have only one hero that is God. I am talking of majority of Brahmins. Some polluted Bramins are also there. But 70% of the Brahmin community never follow hero worship.

Its a welcome move from the SC of India. Karunanidhi,Mulayam ,Lalu,Sonia , Womanmohan all are the enemies in disguise and even dangerous than the Jehadi's.They should be destroyed in all respects to save the country.
