A few weeks ago, Tamil Nadu’s CM had put on hold the Hogenakal Scheme stating that it would be taken up only after the formation of the government in Karnataka. Even after the formation of the government he is not in a hurry to press the issue. Now that the UPA Government has won the trust vote he has given a ‘go ahead’ for the continuation of the project without consulting Yeddyurappa. The Centre has all of a sudden come up with a view that Lord Rama had destroyed the bridge himself and that no religious sanctity needs be attached to the issue. The speed with which the issue was taken up right after the trust vote speaks volumes about the clout wielded by Karunanidhi at the Centre even though he is heading a minority government. If every minority party takes advantage of the contribution made by them to win the trust vote, who will take care of States ruled by other parties? And where is democracy?
These guys in politics sld hav retirement age fixed. This is the least that can be done as a first step. IF govt. servant is old enough at 60 to perform so too shld they be.
May be supreme court might have issued the notice in a language other than TAMIL.... That's why CM was not able to reply.
Kind request to supreme court...pls issue all NOTICE to Tamilnadu in Tamil...because its a state where they not even respect the national langauge HINDI

Just because HINDI is spoken by few more people don't expect that every one shd know Hindi. Can you ask Mayawati to know TAMIL, TELUGU or Bengali. HINDI is not known to majority of the people and don't mix up the issues here.

They are lawmakers and nobody has a right to question him. Moreover this is prestige issue for CM of TN because when opposition has filed the petition means, ruling party have whimsical to reply it or not. Though matter went to Hon. Apex court so naturally whomsoever he has to reply. Moreover present CM himself told several times I will always honour the judgement of court but why he delayed for such reply. Let them he or his government to reply immediately otherwise unnecessary consequence will happen which government is very well aware.

Let him be imprisoned for life for contempt of court. Then only he and his followers will learn lesson. UPA should also learn some lessons considering what type of parties and leaders are supporting it.
Why Sc is warning Karna and his ministers ? Whynot arrest them for not responding to Sc's notice? Sc should be tough with these guys as they are trying to take political advantage of this.
SC has to show his action as if it had been done by any common person, he would have been arrested by now.
RE:why only warning .. arrest him.
