Shame on you. The way you talked with an outbirst during recent debate in Lok Sabha you sounded like a pro-Pakistani. You made a stupid comment that "I am a Muslim but also an Indian". You said what most Hindus don't like about Indian Muslims who are pro-Pakistan. You never said a word against people from PDP when they were shouting "Pakistan Zindabad" during rallies in Srinagar before the J&K Govt. withdrew the decision to allot land for Amarnath Yatris. What business do you have to say that you will fight for every inch of land & not allot it to Hindus for their comort during Amarnath Yatra. Do you think you (NC) and PDP are the owners of the lands in the State & that you guys need permission from Pakistan & not Indian Govt. to allot land for such purposes. What have you & your NC done to stop infiltration of Terrorists from Pakistan? Shekhar Gupta did praise your brief speech & other media also did so but most Indian hated your comments / outbirst. You want best of both worlds & so keep good relations with both Govts. as you like Mehbooba think that Kashmir Valley if not Jammu region will one day become an independent State you jokers will acceede to Pakistan. Forget it; Indians will never let that happen. You may dream to win the next election but do note you & your party will not get a single seat from areas outside Valley. Stop talking pro pakistan.

Hindus need to open a dialogue with Muslims for making resting place for Hindu pilgrims. Let Muslims own those hotels. Doing bandhs, burning properties are no solution to such problems.
Your speech in Parliament was very smartly directed towards the polls. On one hand to oppose Gujarat riots but don't dare to speak a word against the Muslims in Kashmir who have caused atrocities on the Kashmiri Pandits. Is this secularism? NO. You might get the odd praises from Shekhar Gupta and other media friends, but the truth is you supported a government that is formed to hurt Hindu sentiments. Your's is a double-faced party. You switch sides at will. No wonder your government in J&K was called a Kataputli Sarkar by the Pakistanis. Shame on you, this is the same neighbour that you want friendship with. Shame..
Omar is just following the foot steps of his father and grand father who invariably used to change their statements in Jammu and in Kashmir and vice versa. He too comes from a family of corrupts like any other Indian or state politicians. Where from have they got the property they own now? How can they manage their lavish life styles and the foreign trips they undertake now and then? Like any other party in India he also sells even tickets for Legislature. For example from Amira Kadal seat Mohd. Shafi Bhat was their candidate till the names were officially announced, but on the day of nomination an ex. chief engineer was nominated, who is said to have paid 10-20 lakhs for it, which in turn proved to be a debacle for his party. Mohd Shafi Bhat joined Congress and was nominated for the same seat by Congress. Shafi not only won from his constituency but was instrumental in snatching a few more prestigious seats from NC, because he knew the ways and means adapted by NC for coming to power and used the same modus-operandi for defeating his previous Party. Omar in his interview, has not said any thing about what he said in parliament about Shrine board land which, in fact added fuel to fire in Jammu agitation. This family is one of the most opportunist clan of the politicians. One wonders how the media publish their interviews while remaining deaf, dumb and blind towards Jammu happenings- reason is obvious!
He speaks about Kashmiris not having destroyed temples is again a gesture to mislead the people of the country. In a place where only temples have been destroyed, his memory fails to recollect it. For a little more detailed list of destruction of temples
No wonder this comes from the president of the party whose activist was one of the founder of terrorism in J&K and was a National Conference man and later become commander in chief of JKLF . The person who was H in HAJY gang was non other than Hamid Sheikh .
Mr Omar Abdullah also said in Parliament that he was a muslims and was an Indian too and that he found no difference between the two. I wonder why Omar preferred to issue no statement on this issue when threats were served to the non Kashmiris ( labourers) to leeave the valley ?

Omars Sppech in parliament was probably to convey a message to people of valley that he can be as communal as Ms Mehbooba Mufti or Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
How can Omar decide for Amarnath Yatra land to be handed over for Yatris or not . Amarnath Yatra is linked to Kashmiri Pandits for thousands of years.What Omar has tried to alter the history. His knowledge about Amarnath goes only as back as communal elements of Kashmir want him to Know . What he does not know is that Amarnath Yatra has been happening since almsost 2000 years , even before Islam came to Kashmir . Linking Amarnath to “false” benevolence of Kashmiri muslims . Omar needs to read this article or Rajtangini to know about the history of Amarnath Yatra if at all he has to speak about this Amarnath Yatra.

That Comment made me think that was it right for a leader to make who has been the MOS for External Affairs in Govt of India and who still holds chance to become a minister again. I asked him through his blog if his opionion is based on Omar’s experience of having been the former minister in external affairs ministry or because of you being a musilm ?
Though not expected Omars reply came and he said “Why does it have to based on one of the other? Why not because of both or because of a completely different reason? Perhaps its based on what I see, read and understand.“

Omar , though aspiring to be the next Chief Minister of the troubled state of Jammu & Kashmir is so away from facts and news and it is something I find it hard to believe. I find it hard to believe that Omar who plans to blog through his Iphone can not care to google the history of number of attacks which have happened on Amarnath Pligrims in last 19 years …atleast.. A simple google can refer him dates when 10 people were killed and when two got killed in grenade balsts and it seems he has been so involved with parliament trust vote that he is not even aware of the blast in Srinagar on Amarnath pilgrims when 5 people got killed , though unfortunately the victims turned out to be migrant labourers. In 2008 atleast four major attacks have happened to Amarnath Yatra piligrims at Banihal, Gulmarg, Ganderbal and Batmaloo.
