unfortunate deaths.....
by marella rao on Aug 03, 2008 09:14 PM  Permalink

Everytime a tragedy occurs,state/central governments wakeup. No preventive measures..No fun in repenting later. When large crowds gather, where are the safety measures.God is in everyone of us.Better pray from home...God bless all the survived.

when will ppl stop bringing in politics into such incidents. we need to realise that managing crowds in such places is impossible. There needs to be a systematic way of allowing ppl to come to these shrines which will not only be peaceful to the worshipper but also to the worshipped.

STATE GOVT. WITH PILGRIMAGE PLACE MUST HAVE DISASTER PREPAREDNESS PROGRAMME IN PLACE TO AVERT CALAMITY LIKE THIS.
by sudhakar sk on Aug 03, 2008 09:13 PM  Permalink

For the past three years NDMA(National Disaster Management Authority)
was constituted by
Central Government, which should provide all the state government thier
disaster preparedness plans,
at the places of pilgrimage and public interest.

These avoidable tragedy is a National Shame.

BJP's state govt. must be held responsible for these neglect and human tragedy;
while they talk high morale,
but
in practice they do vertually buckwas.

by muneer abidi on Aug 03, 2008 09:10 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

as I heard on news channel that there was no police no ambulance etc on a place where a huge gathering going to be happen even government knows these facts.
This is a high elevated area and thus Helicopter-Ambulances are required for immediate assistance.
May the God give the strength to those who have lost their near and dears.
My heartly condolence to all of them.

If SuddhaAdvaita (500 yrs Old) is Vaishnavism, then it is a fraud as both Parashurama, Rama and Krishna advocates violence to destroy evil-doers.
