stampede and places of worship
by VENURAJA Bowenpalle on Aug 03, 2008 11:43 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Stampedes happen even in Mecca almost every year.
The places of worship in India perticularly in Temples , is totally disorganised.
The whole country called India itself is a very disorganised country.
We have to organise ourselves properly which is what we have to learn from Americans and Europians.
The stampede occured in so many temples which includes Andhra , that you would lose count of them.
In one instance, collector level idiot conducted a special pooja and the entire devotees queue was stopped for hours.

Finally when they were let go the floor was wet ,slipped and fell while they ran helter ,skelter to be first, and ended up dying under the feet their fellow devotees.
so a hundred people died.

Each time govt. will come up with some excuse.
The announce a compensation of RS.one lakh and that is the end of it.
What about organising ,managing large queues, gatherings at festivals,at temples ??

I think HP cheif minister must be forced to resign , so that politicians learn a lesson and would take certain measures in all temples so that devotees are taken good care of by temple's administration.

They only know to eat the devotees money from the HUNDI and give nothing back.

1) God is everywhere. Both Hindus & Muslims should pray to respective Gods while sitting safe inside home with family members and with full devotion.
(2) Donate money which you save from Ticket cost and other expenses to poors.
(3) Prevent Flights/trains/buses from becoming over crowded espacially during holy months and allow safe mode of travel to those who have true need to travel.
(4) Save time & energy

Believe me God will be more happy by doing this.

No crime in history is so long lasting, more serious and diabolically inhuman than the Hindu racism inflicted on a third of India’s indigenous Black Untouchables — sanctioned by the very religion and gods of Hindus, the micro-minority (15%) rulers of India.

Quran never promotes slavery and never says slavery is right thing...

In fact: Islam has clearly and categorically forbidden the primitive practice of capturing a free man, to make him a slave or to sell him into slavery. On this point the clear and unequivocal words of [Muhammad(SAW)] are as follows:

"There are three categories of people against whom I shall myself be a plaintiff on the Day of Judgement. Of these three, one is he who enslaves a free man, then sells him and eats this money" (al-Bukhari and Ibn Majjah).

Hindus have been equally slaves of the white masters. How many businesses inherited? McDowells, TVS, major laws from the British, good roads, English language itself including Madras Presidency (where true tamilian comes from)...so not a worthy point to say Christains are slaves to white masters...horrendous statement...adakki vaasiyum tamila....

This sort of human tragedy takes place time and again and all those who can do something about it offer money and condolences. How about enforcing strict laws and rules of safety? How about avoiding such tragedies instead of offering too little too late? How about taking human life seriously?
