We can extract the good things from any region of the world not only from Communism as it has negative also. Actually this is a political issue made out by politicians for their narrow interests. In Kaveri issue also this incident happened for Rajini, but he did not learn any lesson. God saved TN that he did not become CM in 1996. No need to talk like that in protest and later telling the media that he did not care if his films got banned in Karnataka and now making U-turn seeking apology to Karnataka, actually to Vattal Nagaraj, etc. Rajini preaches about so many things in movies and in media everyone tells he is spiritual person. But actually he is a selfish, cheap, money-minded person who will do anything for MONEY. He had proved this again. At least hereafter Rajini use his brain b4 opening his mouth if at all he has one.
Rajini regrets is nothing wrong. He has done in welfare of produces, distributors and general public in Karnataka. Everyone says it is for business , remember he is the only actor / producer in the world who have returned the money back for his baba movie. So the regret is not because of business also he has sent his regret only to the good people and not to goondas. Whatever comes in media is not the exact way rajini meant. Media , TV networks and others are making business which inturn will have an impact to public both in TN and Karnataka. No one has right to question him especially satyaraj and Sarathkumar. When there was an issue of Kuselan in Karnataka everyone were aware of it . Where did TN film council or Sarathkumar , president, Radaravi or sathyaraj went. They were silent. Whatever rajini earned so for his from his good work and good deeds including fans. everyone will support him during this crisis.

tamils have made JJ (karnataka) as their CM, Accepted Rajanikanth, Arjun, Prakash Rai, Murali, Kokila Mohan, Nagesh, Prabhudeva & etc as Tamil actors even though these were utter failures in Karnataka. Even accepted Telugus like Bhagyaraj, Vijaykanth, SPB.
In a way people from tamilnadu have made success of the failed ones.
Similarly in Karnataka, we have Ramesh Arvind, Ravichandran (tamils) and a lots of telugus like Lokesh, Tara, Ashok, rockline.
What the f u c k i n g is itching you vedprakash, all are indians and have the constitutional right to stay in any part of India, and speak what they like. Even your mother may not know if u were her child (u cud have been misplaced in the hospital). When u are not sure of this, why the hell u speak of Aryans & Dravidians.

Though the protest at the time was reasonable the speach was too inflammatory and meaningless except that of Kamalahasan. Rajini must have realized it right away but could not issue regrets because it would have been interpreted differently. He did the right thing by issuing apology now. This shows he is a person without ego. Also why should he suffer when the ruling class did not bother to confront Karnataka?

When a man has good repute, why he behaved badly that time? and what is the need for him to scold them? and why he's apologizing now when at the time of his film release? That is the question i have to ask Super Star. Kannadigas do not deserve to see his film. He did not have to appologise. Rather he could have simply returned the money to those producers/distributors. After all, all those kannadigas who do not have one good director or good actor in their midst will only buy pirated CDs of his new film and watch. they cannot wait to see good tamil and Hindi movies. May be they will even catch bus and train to go to Hosur to watch the movie. :))
