THE SAARC FARCE
by damodaran mohan on Aug 02, 2008 02:37 PM  Permalink

India-Pakistan bickering virtually overshadows and hijacks the SAARC agenda in every summit and the summit looks farcical. The fact is that just before every SAARC summit Pak army and ISI deliberately contrive situation of border skirmishes, terrorists attack etc against India and try to derive a look of its parity with India as distinct from rest of the smaller SAARC nations. Pak also tries to send a message to the entire world through the summit that it can hit and hurt India at will and should not be underestimated vis-a-vis India. Actually India and Pakistan have been fighting since Pakistan’s birth for over sixty years now and they will continue to do so for the next 600 or 6000 years for sure. After the India’s initiative of Peace talks and CBMs with Pakistan from the yr. 2000 onwards although the people to people environment is friendlier but the country has paid heavily in terms of loss of thousands of Innocent lives. The Indian establishment needs to be more honest and not play with lives of its innocent citizens.

Is he having a laugh?
Or does he agree with Sinhalese that us Tamils are 2nd grade citizen?

DEAR SIR:

PLEASE ENSURE THAT U VISIT OUR INDIAN CRICKET TEAM NOW PLAYING IN SRI LANKA AND GIVE THEM YOUR VALUABLE ADVISE ON HOW TO SURVIVE AGAINST THE DEFEAT.

YOUR RECENT EXPERIENCE IN SURVIVAL AS P.M SHOULD BE SET AS AN EXAMPLE FOR THEM.
