Top ISI officers may be behind Kabul attack: Report
by Fazal Curmally on Aug 03, 2008 09:28 AM  Permalink

Those who carried out the bombing may have been Indians or Srilankans or Japanese, or even the US or the Afghans themselves. When the word may is used, it becomes a supposition. Then your guess is as good as mine and you become as qualified as Admiral Mullen. In the end, Jalauddin Haqqani is an Afghan so an Afghan group were responsible foi the boom at the Indian Embassy at Kabul and connivance is a very difficult thing to prove.

ISI's Pak-Afghan-Drug-Dealers Empire
by Kris iyer on Aug 01, 2008 04:14 PM  Permalink

ISI has become a copy of the feudal net work that Pakistan is familiar with. Even the West is talking about "regular ISI officers" and "renegade" ones. In other words, individual officers form their own "lineage" of followers!!

1) ISI helps the Pak. army with important information on political threats to army rule in the country. So, it has an internal role
2) ISI helps Pak army generals to share the booty that comes from drug sales out of poppies grown in Afghanistan. To them, Islam does not stand in the way of such illegal deals.
3) ISI helps in huge "money-laundering" operations for the generals and people like Huqquani and Sons. ISI has been pushing very well-made Indian currency in Rs.500 and Rs.1000 denominations, over the last ten years or so. So well made are these currency notes that Reserve Bank of India had to let them be in circulation!! They reduce their own "print-job" to account for this uninvited contribution from the ISI. So, the ISI has not made any dent in the Indian economy!!
4) ISI and Pak's foreign policy are taking away Pak's credibility year. The Economist has described Pak (On its report of the SAARC meet in Colombo) as "corrupt and rowdy"!! ISI and Pak think that farting under water will go unnoticed by everybody. But sadly for them the bubbles are are both seen and heard.
5) Once Iraq is settled the USA and EU will turn their full attention to Pakistan - a full invasion is likely.

Fruits of suicide attack

"Recruits are typically drawn in by five lofty promises: They will go to paradise immediately; receive a special audience with God; have their worldly sins be forgiven; take 70 relatives with them to heaven; and be given 72 virgins to marry, none of whom will ever grow old"..This is what is promised to the uneducated muslims for undertaking a suicide bomb attack.

Allah did say that he will provide material reward to martyrs, i.e., that is more than 70 viegins to every one of them. However, he never said that they are going to be all women. If you look at fine print quoran then you will know that virgins can be old or young and man or women. If you are lucky, if you might end up with perfectly virgin 72 old man.

This is just a great displomacy!

We Indians look so childish... This propogand is called 'American Diplomacy'. America never cared and bothered about all the evidance and information provided by India aginst Pakistan (publicly or privately). Why American are shouting now? Two reasons: (1) This will make Chidlish Indians think that America is a friend and it will help put down the indian-public opposition to the tough NSG-draft that America has prepared for N-deal. I am not saying that America is not a friend; it is a friend but not in the sense we take it; we have some common ground and thats all.. (2) second reason looks like, they want to tone-down the civilian leadership of Pakistan and it will put pressure on the Pakistan to cooperate more.

Otherwise, America is too big for Pakistan to go to such length of unnecessary media leaks. They have ability to order anything to Pakistan.

American diplomacy is the personificaion of hunderds of Chanakyas.. I salute this!

Ultimate Solution
by zafar on Aug 01, 2008 12:17 PM  Permalink

Take a lesson from Mossad (Israeli intelligence agency). All the people responsible for assasianation of Israeli atheletes in 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich have been killed by Mossad even after 20 years of incident.Israel never compromise on terrorism , no negotiations. We have to pay some times bigger price. But just compare we released Masood Azhar from Jail to save 200 peoples and he created Jaishe e Mohammad which has killed more than 300 o people in terrosris activities. Now u can decide which one is better choice.

America is learning the hard way
by rohan handa on Aug 01, 2008 12:16 PM  Permalink

I dont understand why Bush is so accomodating of Pakistan. It created false intelligence to get rid of Saddam. It went after the taliban , but now that it has all the intelligence it needs to bomb pakistan to hell, its not going ahead with it. Now they are losing soldiers the same way India has been loosing over the past two decades, through cross border terrorism.
Its time for the invasion of pak. US should take up Pak's western front and India will move in through Pak's eastern front, and then Bush and Manmohan should sign the civil nuclear deal in Musharaff's house in Islamabad.
