You say BJP is confined to Mumbai karntaka Region that is nonsense. BJP first set foot in karnataka in coastal and Malnad region. In 1991 BJP first won in mangalore , coastal karnataka it is winning since then. Udupi it won twice. It has strong base in malnad region it is not Mumbai Krantaka. The onely region it is weak is in the districts of Mandya and Chitradurga and Hassan.else where it is strong and can give congress run for its money.
Bangarappa's atrength is overestimated.Last time his nominee was defeated in his own citadel Sorab. It is similar to Arjun singh contest from Hoshangabad and loosing in 1998. Bangarappa will also meet the same fate. For karntaka's sake this should be his last election.
You talk about secular parties. Can you tell me how Congress, JD(s) and SP are secular? Congress has tainted its hand in 1984 anti sikh riots. JD(s) is father son party. SP is pro muslim organization far worser than simi.

Kranataka had a straightforward hardworking CM called Veerendra Patil, who had guts to stand infront of Rajiv gandhi, he took the arrack lobby head on( bangarappa's bread and butter) unfortuntely he fell ill, and using thi opportunity communal riots were engineered in Ramanagram and chenna pattana(1990), at that time Secualr congress was ruling and super secular JD was in opposition. BJP had just 4 seats.
Veerendra patil was removed without even giving him an opportunity to prove his majority by Rajiv gandhi. The same Bangarappa was made CM, and the result congress was routed in 1994 election.
First he does not know how to behave like a former P.M, he has become a pain all over the body for Bangalore and Bangaloreans. He has made it very clear time and again that he simply cannot tolerate anything that could make Bangalore a little more developed than his native village Narayana Murthy had to suffer Deve Gowda s abuses too. What is Murthy admired for? For several things: it was Murthy s company Infosys that showed, he quit chairmanship of the Bangalore international airport project as soon as Deve Gowda spewed venom on him but, of course, after giving Deve Gowda a fitting reply in facts and figures, after which the latter has shut his mouth tight with a Raagi Ball. Now , his latest target is the Bangalore-Mysore Infrastructure Corridor project. He spoiled it eles Bangalore and Mysore will get a piece of world-class infrastructure and the people of Bangalore and Mysore will get a little bit of speed and comfort, hecannot tolerate. Why should this man have any say at all in Bangalore s affairs? Why should Bangaloreans continue to tolerate his brand of politics? Why should he be allowed to scuttle Bangalore s development? Deve Gowda can t sleep otherwise.

You are absolutely right. The entire clan should be off politics including his sons so that the state can progress further.
The family is ruling karnataka since long and serving their own interests.
Gowda says he is a man for the poor. Just visit Padhmanabhanagar and see Gowdas inheritance.You cannot sell a property without their blessings. Either you have top pay a doowill to thme OR agree to surrender to their price. Gowdas two childern look like your neighbourhood robberers. What educational qualificatio they have to become Chief Minister and a PWD minister.Lal bahadur Shastri returned Rs 5 from his salary as Rs 35 was enough for him. On the contrary DGowda and sons owning crores and crores of property are still not satisfied. You will be astonished to learn that forty years ago Bihar was considered one of the three best administered states in India. A later generation of politicians ruined all that. If Gowda and sons are allowed to dictate their terms the history shall repeat itself in Karnataka but at a much faster pace. Bangalore will be patna in 10years
