Mumbai may be crowded and dirty. But very obviously, one of the safest places in India, specially for women. Ladies can safely travel in most parts of the cities even at midnight, whereas in Delhi, it is scary for women th venture out after dark!
Agreed, ever teasing, molestations and rapes do happen in Mumbai, but at a negligible rate compared to what happens in Delhi!
Those who criticize Mumbai for its crowd, dirt etc., be fair and acknowledge some of the good virtues of this metropolis!
The culture has some part to play here. Migrants have come to Mumbai in the later years, but the prevailant culture has been set by the original residents.

Yes, I know about them.. and I have not said that there are NO rape cases in Mumbai, but the rate is NEGLIGIBLE and that is true!
India should adopt the sharia law so this menace can be controlled the so called people who call themselves modern and civilised cannot control this until some iron hand is used i want to ask this people what will u do if u r mother,daughter or sister is raped give 1-7 years prison no u will kill him and in this age of technology we easily identify the culprit so death sentence is the only answer some women argue that if death sentance is enacted the rapist will kill the women agter rape so go and see the life of women who have gone through this there life is a living hell
The only way to curb such crime is to make the punishmnet more severe and with less loop-holes. The Delhi police is one of most corrupt. Some action should to initiated against them who fails to do the duties.
Our holy Veda says: Yatra Naryastu Pujyante Ramante Tatra Devataah, meaning GOD dwells there, where women are worshipped.
The growth of any society is directly proportional to the standard of respect given to the women.
Ours is the holy land where women have been worshipped. In Navaratras, we used to worship small girls as Goddesses.
Delhi is witnessing various types of abuses on women. Not at all a symptom of growth and prosperity irrespective of the slogan: We are shining. We are growing.

Just do NOT SPARE those who raped Minors...simple reason, that is worst than barbariasm... if other woman major r raped, u can figureout 1000 reasons, but, not Minors who r below 9 years, cos, they r equal to new born babies.....that is truth!!!!!

A big shame for Delhi Police , Indian Ploice and hats off to our Indian Govt who is already sorrounded with ever lasting corruption India is no more a place for common man to survive.
