Tactical voting necessary to defeat BJP
by Robin Hood on Apr 29, 2008 11:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Spread the message wherever you can. Muslims and Vokkaligas must vote for Congress in North Karnataka because JD(S) does not have a chance. BJP got max seats in last election from North Karnataka because Muslim vote got split between Congress and JD(S). It should be avoided this time by careful and tactical voting.

Why people blame JDs and Commies. As a matter of fact all parties are the same.Just ask people to bring one party to majority one at one perticular term. and then rotate it. West Bengal only Commies are eating. Now they should pave way to Congress or Trinumul to loot. Now in Karnataka BJP should be given a chance since Yudi has only 1.82 Crs. He too want to make it 30crs like Kumarswamy did.Vote for BJP this time plzzzz

BJP is living in grand delusion that they will get majority :-) They will find it tough even to retain current tally which they won by fluke because Muslims wasted their vote on JD(S) in North Karnataka districts. This time, they have smartened up. BJP will be sent packing home.

Yet Another Whammy for the BJP
by Pop Head on Apr 29, 2008 11:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The JD(S) has not fielded any candidate against Bangarappa. In many seats, Congress, JD(S), JD(U)and JD (S) all are contesting. However through informal arrangements, they field weak candidates to enable the strongest among them to win

This is yet another whammy for the BJP who was depending on division of secular votes to scrap through. This turns as what appears as a multi-polar contest to a bi-polar contest between secular parties and BJP though there is no pre-poll alliance among the secular parties. However the secular parties have laid the ground for post-alliance.

Vote Share 2004

Congress 37.5
BJP 28.0
JD(S)& JD(U) 22.8

Much of BJP's winning seats were because of its alliance with JD(U) who are contesting independently this time round

In the last ULB elections (Sept 2007) BJP came a poor third 15-20% (vote share) behind the Congress. And the urban areas are supposed to be BJP's strongholds

JD(S) and Congress will be in for a shock...
by Demo-crazy on Apr 29, 2008 11:15 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

when BSP eats into their vote banks.

It is time for Devegowda to pack up and go on a pilgrimage. Kumaraswamy and Revanna can perform last rites of JD(S).

I wish that in this election JD(S) is thrown into the dustbin of history. We dont mind a BJP or Congress government formed on single party majority.
