Yes allright, In each & every point to them, there will be negetive view, but if they can come out of well than they can realize it, Go and watch development in every oil country. There are selling fuel only in their paisa (Rs 5 to Rs 8 per litr). and this all europian & american countries are developed & running by their oil only. so what is the wrong if we will deal with them to get oil. we are more sincere & smart than american & europian......
Since the oil pipeline project is opposed by the Bush administration,i have every reason to belive it will benefit india.some people here are grossly exaggerating the sunni-shite fight. This is not true because the sunni pakis have helped shite iran develop nuclear weapons. The shite iran is helping the sunni Hamas. It is US which is fueling the shite-sunni conflict in iraq Saudi is the biggest exporter of oil to India so what is the problem if Iran is part of the deal, why people are brining religion here??
Indian Politicians are the nations greatest enemies...they dont have the courage, will, ability or understanding to do any good to this nation. They are the most corrupt and most hated lumpen lot in this country. Only thing they understand is LOOT BUSINESS and hide behind argument "LIKE PEOPLE LIKE LEADERS". People get into politics to LOOT and LOOT. So dont expect they can do anything good to this Country.

Those who deny this are foolest of the fool.
CPIM, Congress - all know this. But they want to exploit Muslim vote, by proposing closer relationship with Iran as it currently opposes America.
They want to cash in muslim anger of america, little caring what is good for india.

Fact of the matter is: Middle Eastern Oil will come wih lots of string attached which will have a civilizational bearing on India.
Time has come for BJP and Congress to unite, give good governance, see rapid economic growth- as with economic rise, a county's political, geo-political clout also increases.
Make firm commitment to growing ties with Israel, West.
Because, growing dependence on ME oil will have a negavive fall out on Indian civilization.

"Time has come for BJP and Congress to unite"
Ver good point. A national govt at least of that sort will be very good for India for a while... at least until we settle some national priorities without making everything political.

Iran , Pakistan, or even Bangladesh are taking advantage of disunity of Indian politics.
They are taking advantage of even Indian media.
This is simply outrageous how political parties look for short term gain, votebank, and does great harm to longstanding Indian interest.

RE:What's Iran's stand on Kashmir?
by Abhi Two Point O on Apr 29, 2008 09:17 PM Permalink
actually Iran played a major role in preventing a crucial UN vote against India on Kashmir in the 90s. Vajpayee led the Indian effort inspite of being in the opposition and along with Congress' Salman Khurshid successfully lobbied Iran to abstain, when Pak was expecting a sure-shot vote from them.
There are no permanent friends or enemies ... only permanent interests ... we should be open to allying with everyone instead of no-one aka NAM.
