USA itself is working on 420 billion dollar plan to generate 69% of total power that country needs from solar power plants by the year 2050.
And at the same time it is promising to lhelp India by selling nuclear power. in other words, US is selling Kaddus ( other word for nuclear power ) to stupid and ignorant Indians.
India should give up fantasy of nuclear energy-it is expensive, it comes with many strings and there are lot of safety and environment issues with it.

Let me ask you, how do you know that Pakistan HAS nuclear bombs? From the media reports..right? Can media create false impression? Can the wole media lie? answer is yes. Indian media takes its cue from the Reuters and AP. There is no checking facts or findign holes in the story. Have you heard of the term alternative reality?
If you only knew how uncle Sam operates when it comes to nuclear technology under the hands of any other country more so in the hands of Islamic country like Pakistan, you won't be asking such childish question. Do some google search on Pakistan's nuclear program, AQ Khan, Kahuta and you will find the answer.
I agree that China does have nuclear weapons and that is why India needs to keep developing deterrance. But US would like India to be dependent on her security like Japan. Unfortunately, unlike Japan, US has been providing cover to Pakistan for terrorist activities in India. And there is no proof or assurances that it would stop doing that in future. Hence India has to hold some cards in hand if uncle Sam starts creating trouble again. US can not and must not be trusted.
When Rajiv Gandhi brought computers IT in In India in 1980's these commies CPI-M Opposed IT said that because of computer millions of people will lose jobs. Now every one knows how many jobs created in India because of IT.And where India stand today because of IT. Now these commies CPI-M again saying same statement for Nuclear Deal and every thing.Let them bark dont care.
Good that these nickerwallas are out of power. They are too easy to fool. They still don't know that Kargil was a joint operation of Pentagon and Musharaf. And they were thinking that US is helping India. Have they ever heard of bandar and billi ki story?

Have you heard of Professor Goldman? He said clearly that There is an axis of Washington-Beijing-Islamabad to create a facade of Pakistan's nuclear capability to trap India. It is US behind most of the trouble. I don't see US acknowledging even now that Pakistan's nuclear program is bluff. Why should India trust US?

-- I think you do understand English. Check the dictionary spelling of bluff. And this bluff has been created by US with some help from China to keep India down for the past 3 decades. Pakistan has zero/nada/zilch nuclear bombs. If they had one, they would blow it in Bush's lower end. US is blackmailing Pakistan and India both. China just watches in amusement. US does not get it.. India's nuclear capability is the last thing it should worry about. US has so many other things to take care of ..but no, they have just one goal ( because they are too impotant to do anything else ) that is to curb India's nascent nuclear ability. The old farts in the US states department were caught with their chaddhis down when India tested in 1998. That was not supposed to happen when they were playing fantasy games. The present nuclear deal is to satisfy their bruised ego. India should NOT given into to any unreasonable demands on nuclear issues. US jokers would come around. US NEEDS India much more than other way around. India is too big, we can handle China and Pakistan with or without US.

Guys, we have all understood one thing, both congress and the left are ruining this country. If we have to secure our future, les all vote congress out for ever this time. If we dont vote them out this time, we have to suffer to the next 5 years. Think over. Take an oath to vote congress out.

If its a loss of Face for India, Its all because of Congress. Its better to loose face than to compromise on the security of the nation. If we are paying US for the technology, we will use it the way we want it. The US cannot put restrictions on the useage of technology.The US has not done a favour. We have paid for it. If congress does not have the mouth speak up and compromises on the security of the nation they have no right to be in power
He concedes that India will suffer consequences should she conducts tests. So basically this is CTBT and worse because India will not only give away its right to conduct tests, but will also allow America spies in Indian nuclear reasearch laboratories. In short, India would perpetually be at the mercy of the western technology (if they ever give it). Moreover, if US and other nuclear supplier group cuts off uranium supply for the nuclear plants ( if they are ever build considering that power generated is three times more expensive ), India cannot resicnd the treaty due to perpetuity clause.
Forget the deal eh.. sell out.
Thank goodness, these BJP wallas are out of power.
