Bloody congress
by shrinath raju on Apr 28, 2008 06:47 AM  Permalink

We should rename congress and call them NATAK party. The whole congress is filled with well polished idiots taking people for a ride. They have been able to do anything good for the nation

K'taka: Jaffer Sharief withdraws resignation
by Suresh Gowda on Apr 28, 2008 04:40 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Jaffar or No Mir Jaffar congress goose is cooked in Karnataka. Question is will they go below all time worst of 37 achieved in 1994.
Congress contestants will not allow the party to die.
BSP, SP and JD(S) and Congress rebels will not allow the party to live.

Will it lead to near 2/3rd majority for BJP or more than that is the question worth waiting for results

The same thing was told last time. But everyone saw the result. Who is mir jaffer, when there are good number of mir jaffers in every party, but CKJ remained with congress for his whole life, even during testing times. What congress used him.

Understandings, beliefs, and feelings that only only Nehru, so called Gandhi congress are the only secular and best for India. And rest are worst. Your "Karnataka becoming another Modi rajya" is not surprising. Many assume and are prejudised to the heart. Enemies are there in politics. But should not only abuse others, as if you are the best because others are worst

Dear Ahamed, You have selective amenitia. You have religious affiliation and that's the reason.
Everyday in Nandi gram lot of people are getting killed by CPM and somany riots have happened while congress was ruling rajaastan and Gujrat.
All the political parties are responisible for this.
Nothing is good for us.But you don't want to accept due to religious affiliation and you are gaining something out of it(sachhar report).
Please note that this killings are the reactions of some socio-economic unequality and someone thinks that someone or other taking advantage due to social infleuce. It is applicable to all.

Instead of having endless arguments, I would say all secular minded people unit together to build a great state. Like politicians, in this thread some people are also more interest to show perception towards their communal forces. Sadly NO ONE BOTHRED to take an interest how to overcome problem of this state. Like power shortage, water, road condition, instead of having discussion this kind of basis amenities people are more interest to show their interest on making it as communal state.

I would also say, the people who want split nation by dividing religion and region, they are the main threat to the nation.

Its only because of idiots like you that women in the country are not any more safe and we see rape cases avery day.You talk about secularism with no security for our mothers and sisters. The country is bleading under the congress rule and there in the last five years we have seen somebodies sister being raped in moving cars for hours. We dont want incompetent leaders who have are here ony for their visted intersts and compromising the security of the nation and its citizens. Its time to vote out congress for ever.Take this opportunity or we will have to suffer for the next 5 years again. Think about the security of your mother and sisters before you vote this time.

why can't they sort out ticket distribution mess
by Sanjay Rao on Apr 28, 2008 01:34 AM  Permalink

I think it is high time Indian parties start US kind of primary elections to sort out ticket distribution mess. Instead of party leaders in Delhi or state capitals deciding who should get ticket, leave that to primary members of the party at their constituiency by holding a sort of primary elections.

If you see the history of Indian politicians, I would people wouldn%u2019t discuss on this matter. At least he was car driver before entering to polictics, however some of politicians are having very good track record in criminal cases. Compare to them this person is somewhat good. Also because of his capabilities he has done great respect in society. If you GO through the history of great entrepreneur you can easily know how they achieved great respect in the society, though they started their carrier lower than a car driver. People in the discussion thread come out from their communal mind, join hands towards to have secular mind to build a great state.

Congress did reallly wonderfull job by retaining Shariff,at least people of Karnatak can have some respect to the great poclitcian from thier region.Once upon a time the same person had helped to get some benifit of raliways, now people can see how Central goverment negelacting though this state has good number useless MP's,Compare to Sharief thier contribution is null..I woud like add one more point,CONGRESS is not at all a secular party,if it so then none of the party in india is Cummunal though..

BJP's Dream Smashed: Karnataka not Gateway but Graveyard
by rajana on Apr 27, 2008 11:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Caste polarization between Lingayat and non-Lingayats are going to burst BJP's dreams of Karnataka being a Gateway to the South and instead their graveyard.

Bangarappa is similarly going to defeat Yediruppa. The SP may not have a pre-poll alliance with the Congress. However, may have a post poll alliance with them

Why Politics Yediruppa??
by Kris Iyer on Apr 27, 2008 11:28 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Yediruppa propaganda suggests that he received the blessing from a senior Lingayat pontiff and now assured of CMs chair. What he didn't disclose that he was CM for 10days, he spent his time visiting temples and getting blessings, including this particular pontiff. Still he came a cropper.

We need a CM who is a CEO like SM Krishna. Not one spending time visiting temples and seeking blessings which does not materialize

If Yediruppa wants to spend his time visiting temples he should be a sadhu in Himalayas and not eye the CM chair, which in any case would elude him
