Guys, understand one thing, Congress is here to ruin our lives and is compromising the security and integrity of our nation. As it is the common man has no say today as congress is solely interested in votes which it will get only from SC/ST and backward community. If we have to secure our future we have to throw congress out.Take oath that we will not vote for the congress in futher

What do you mean by common man has no say on this? Common man does not have to think about all foreign matters of the state - that is why we have elected our politicians who can handle them. If we have to look after each and every matter of the business of the government, then what is the need of the government? I think all foreign matters should be decided solely by the government and we should have faith in them, otherwise, we should only blame ourselves that we elected those worthless men. To me, 123 agreement is just like any another foreign agreement which India signs every year with other nations; do you pay attention to them?

You are theoretically correct but then why do u need any opposition or any media ? In a democracy, if u just elect and forget, you will be in deep trouble. As an intelligent citizen, each one has to think of the pros and cons of every major deal, specially like the nuke deal which binds you for all future to come. Choice is yours.

BJP is an extreme rightwing communal party, it is far more dangerous than the terrorists in the country. This judgment was given by a Supreme Court, while ordering reinvestigation on the Post Godhra communal violence in Gujarat.

It is Foolish to think America is China's foe/competitor.
USA is deeply In Debt-ed to China for Financing the Iraq war thru buying Fed Bonds.

All Major Allies of USA including China are having Droughts since few Years. Also, No Domestic Markets for GDP growth.
So, They are hell bent on Destroying India from within and out.

Unneccessary International Obligations means Playing into Enemies hands and precipitating a Confrontation. Let us not be foolish and accept the Arguements of our Agent Politicians and PR Babus.

Call off the Deal for good
by Chakravarthy Muralidhar on Apr 26, 2008 10:36 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is the way the western colonialists dealt with their target nations when they entered into negotiations on some issues which were more important to the colonialists. But they always made it appear as if their offer was more beneficial to the natives.Infact, this is exactly how modern America was born out of systematic deceit followed by genocide, cold blooded massacre and annihillation of the natives of that land over a period of 80-100 years. Every politician, bureaucrat or diplomat negotiating with the Americans on some national level agreements or treaties must be made to read and analyse the early history of America, not all written by Americans themselves, but by others including American Indians.

As to the present 123-deal, we need a great maverick leader who will question the very basics of entering into such treaties. Should India be built only by seekers and beggars or by our own youthful intellectuals and professionals who have pride in their own independent thinking and ability to devote themselves fully to solve our own problems without all the time feeling helpless and sapped when addressing existing and emerging problems of a struggling yet growing young nation of 120 crores. We need a total paradigm shift. We need leaders in every field -political,administrative,scientific,technological,cultural,literary and what not-where they will stop looking at the US or West for seeking direction to their thoughts and actions and look within to seek our own answers.

US or China?
by Soorya on Apr 26, 2008 10:14 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

At a time when our boundaries are at stake, where do you go for a support? All our neighbours are so eager to capture as much as possible at any given chance! China is the silent but strongest enemy that we have (recollect the last NDA defence minister George Fen'z' controversial comment)

So in case of a border attack from China, what can we do? Is it limited only to the extend of sacrificing the lives of our security forces?

Having stronger allies will deter such forces to an extend in a single polar world.. The alliance that is in line with US, Aus, Japan and India can support the very existance of our country.. Self belief is good but over confidence is destructive!

Choosing between China or US is the option.. and please do it...

Penis theft panic hits city

KINSHASA - Police in Congo have arrested 13 suspected sorcerers accused of using black magic to steal or shrink men's penises after a wave of panic and attempted lynchings triggered by the alleged witchcraft.

Reports of so-called penis snatching are not uncommon in West Africa, where belief in traditional religions and witchcraft remains widespread, and where ritual killings to obtain blood or body parts still occur.

Rumors of penis theft began circulating last week in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo's sprawling capital of some 8 million inhabitants. They quickly dominated radio call-in shows, with listeners advised to beware of fellow passengers in communal taxis wearing gold rings.

Purported victims, 14 of whom were also detained by police, claimed that sorcerers simply touched them to make their genitals shrink or disappear, in what some residents said was an attempt to extort cash with the promise of a cure.

"You just have to be accused of that, and people come after you. We've had a number of attempted lynchings. ... You see them covered in marks after being beaten," said Kinshasa's police chief, Jean-Dieudonne Oleko.

Police arrested the accused sorcerers and their victims in an effort to avoid the sort of bloodshed seen in Ghana a decade ago, when 12 suspected penis snatchers were beaten to death by angry mobs. The 27 men have since been released.

"I'm tempted to say it's one huge joke," Oleko said.

"But when you try to

This ia not a joke. It is a serious matter.

The govt of india should immediately invite these
polly sorcerers and let them loose in Chandni Chowk and Mohammad Ali Road, for starters.

It's a sure shot way to cuntroll their population.
