He gave all catering contracts to his relatives in southern rly and appointed all his relatives during his tenure. Remember Jaffer Sheriff received illegal Bangladeshi immigrants in Balore and has created huge slum colony for them and no one can touch this community in Blore He was responsible for all the mess, property damage and loss of innocent lives to protest against Saddam hanging. It is sad that damage has been caused to property and the public has been inconvenienced because of the rally held to %u201Cprotest%u201D against the hanging of Saddam Hussein. What was the point of this rally and what did it seek to achieve? Unless, of course, the whole idea was to bring to the fore a politician, whose name had been long forgotten! Unfortunately, politicians fan trouble for personal gains.

It is strange how two persons can have same name "Ram Sharma"?
Internal democracy does not exist in Congress party. All power is concentrated in Sonia parivar, consisting of Sonia, Rahul & Priyanka. All appointments in states and center is done by this parivar only. There is no election there is only selection by high command in the party.
Thus though Krishna's name has been cleared for election, but Chief Ministership will b decided by the parivar after election.Indira had had destroyed internal democracy in the party.
Contrast it with the fierce competition in USA between Hillary Clinton and Obama for getting nominated to fight presidential election against the republican candidate.
Once upon a time Congress was very democratic with stalwarts like Tilak, Gandhiji, Nehru, Patel, Kalam, Kamraj, Netaji etc. Netaji once even defeated Gandhiji's candidate for the post of president. Now no one can go against the Parivar.
Sonia is ruling the country from behind the scene, without any accountability and responsibility. Anything good goes to her credit anything bad is passed on as the work of the govt and congress party organisation.
Two road shows of Rahul have flopped - in UP and Gujrat. Still he was given another opportunity of road show in Karnataka and is hoping to b PM of the country. Would any other non dynasty congressman have been given so much freedom, power and opportunity?
This gives rise to dictatorial tendencies, corruption and nepotism and very dangerous in the long run.

The situation regarding internal democracy is worst in Congress. Whole world knows it.
Politicians in India are a FILTHY LOT ...They are into Politics to loot the Nation and teach their future genarations to do so. They are more of a Burden to this Great Nation than of any use to it. Their only hiding place is behind the argument "LIKE PEOPLE,LIKE LEADERS" which is absolutely wrong but they preach it.
The assumption that Lingayat Brahmin vote will win majority for the BJP is a mere fallacy. (The Brahmin vote is miniscule in the state).
The JD(S) has already largely perceived to have collapsed and all other communities may graviate towards the Congress since the JD(S) is increasingly seen as a loser. This second scenaraio is already visibly evident. It must be noted that Vokaligas and Muslims tend to switch from JD(S) and Congress and back again very freqently.
Vicky's analysis of why SM Krishna is not standing or why Congress is not announcing its CM candidate is based on the later scenario - Congress is trying to be a magnet for all castes and does not want to upset caste equations - very shrewd strategy.
So what evidence is available of a Lingayat-non-Lingayat caste polarization has taken place. The BJP boasted that they had a 15 day campaign lead over the Congress. Now that they hit the campaign trail, they have realized that the masses have very little enthusiasm for them.
