Pakistan is incorrigible
by mallaiah anchoori on Apr 26, 2008 10:09 AM  Permalink

Any amount of preaching/sermonizing will not do for Pakistan which does not believe in peaceful coexistence. We cannot straighten a dog's tail which is always curved. All words of wisdom -like "peace and friendship" to it just prove like blowing a conch in the ears of a deaf. The only way that it could aspire to befriend with us or we can expect a change in them is that it should stop encroaching our territory, stop terrorist activity which is their main weapon being used to disrupt the unity of our country.Change of its govt would not make them forget their deep routed enemity towards us and, even if pretends so,it would only be a deceptive lull to be manifested with all its awe later.Let us, therefore, not feel complacent that we advised them to forget past and be friendly. We need to be on our guard with it for all times- especially in view of their furthering new friendship with China which is more dangerous than Pakistan. We say "borders lost their relevance",but Pakistan is bent upon snatching away our Kashmir from us.This being the main bone of contention since independence, will it heed to our advice of "Peace & tranquillity" without the issue being resolved?Till now,we have been hearing such good words only from us but never so far from Pak's new Govt which continues to be guarded in its style & strategy. We,Indians are very fragile, docile & easily contended who feel flabbergasted with small things of mutual help & friendship, but the fool at other side should understand it.

How can one ignore past experiences?????
by Mubeen Pasha on Apr 26, 2008 08:30 AM  Permalink

Mr. MMS if you go and talk to pakis ignoring the fact that they have always betrayed and stabbed in back then get ready to get betrayed again....pakis can never be trusted so be careful....dont play minority appeasement policies everywhere at the cost of national security. All the present day problems of J&K, North east and China are the mis deeds of Congress from the time of Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi and you want a chapter to your name it seems.....dont do it please for next generations to come

foolish talk
by excelwin on Apr 26, 2008 07:55 AM  Permalink

MMS is talking like his foolish forefather Jawaharlal Nehru, thanks to whom we lost POK and inherited the Tibet /China problem.
MMS does not realise that there is no place for weak men such as him to deal with these rogues, who are born ou of, and fest in hate of India.
So let us keep playing the goody goody facade- if you slap my one cheek, I will offer the other one!(obviously not for a grisly bear kiss!)

Look ahead!

It is time we unshackled ourselves from the past. When a child is born, he does not know who he is. He is ever innocent of the ways of the world, accepts everything and trusts all. He has no idea of religion! Slowly the capricious ways of the world is injected into him and he starts distrusting people.

There are no problems with ordinary people. Mostly, our politicians & religious bigots do us in! Innocents get killed, but the instigators live forever! This goes on, ad naseum. We should break this cycle.

I have moved with all, with open mind. Chinese, Pakistanis, Westerners, all are same. So easy to get along with ordinary folks. But I never judge people. If I want to find faults, I have to start with me only and hopefully end there. A simple "can you help me" does wonders.

We cannot change our parents nor our neighbours. The common man yearns for peace! Extrapolating my experince, I will bet my last paise, that it is very easy. Religion has nothing to do with it. Within religion also people fight, maim & kill each other. It is just hate taking over reason.

We are felled by poverty. No shame in cooperating with Pakistan, China and anybody. As the chinese say, a good neighbour is better than a distant relative! It is ever true as children stay away from parents now. It is a reality. We all live in guilt. Let us die in peace, at least fighting for it.

We all have so much in common. Why look for divisions. We share one planet and same blood. Start now!

Yeah... Start Now..!!! And get your @ss blow off first..!
Posting craps sentimentally wont work in practical way.
Words of "Peace", "Love", "Affection" and most of all "Commonality" factors wont get into the ears of the Jihadists who are ready even to blow themselves up.
Think logically before you scrap anything.

A lot of low life losers in this forum
by Yash Bhatnagar on Apr 26, 2008 03:10 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We as Indians are showing maturity and open mindedness by giving every topic a religious flavour. Stupid, imbecile comments that are not relevant. All you people lead some really sad lives. More than 50% Indians live below poverty line, lack the basic fundamentals of life - proper nutrition, clean drinking water, electricity, medicine, education - my friends once we succeed in providing all these then we can gloat about how great a nation we are - whether Hindu or Muslim. We can't measure our sucess against the failure of Pakistan. Neither can they. So shut up or crawl back into the holes you worms have squeezed out of.Morons on rediff - a pathetic bunch of loosers.

Wrong statistics - Only 20 % people live below the poverty line. Check facts before you write something.

Yes Mr. Bhatnagar you seem to be a great educated man and big winner in life what have you contributed to the cause of nation to say all here are loosers.....you say once all those things are provided this nation will be a better place.....isnt it a shame that even after 60 years of independence we still have roti, kapda aur makan as the election issues or the issues that concern a common man, even after all this years many villages still dont have roads or electricity.

This is a failure of all Indians and that includes you too so dont call others a looser
