Slogan Shouting in Parliament - Speaker's Dilemma
by jamsheed abumohammed on Jul 07, 2008 12:28 PM  Permalink

Speaker Somanth Chatterjee expressed his displeasure over the beahviour and shouting by the BSP member joining with him were the BJP members and wanted to quit the post. Was this the real reason for him to quit the post? Its not, its only an alibi to join the Communists ranks to condemn the govt over its failure to curb inflation and price rise. He is likely to be replaced by MP from AP soon. The Communists have trained all guns agianst the Govt and Chatterjee's offer to quit adds to the speculation what the Communists are upto. BJP which is dying to see the demise of the Govt, joined the BSP to condemn the Govt while the discussion was on the fertilizer shortage in the country and non-supply to UP farmers. It appears the Members of the Parliament don't raise points to air the grievances of the people but to score political points over the Govt. Its not a good sign at all. Soon a new Parliament will take its due place after the elections were announced in November, which is a certainity. Communists are in no mood even to the listen to elder statesman of the party,Jyoti Basu, who advised restraint and wanted Karat to go slow in the matter as the main beneficiary of the tussle between the Communists and the Govt, is BJP safron brigade. If the elections are delayed, then advantage Congress,if not advantage BJP. In all probability Communists would lose much ground in their own backyard in Kerala and West Bengal. The Left beware of this lurking danger and support the Govt for good.

Christians & muslims are terrorists
by Suresh Arora on Apr 25, 2008 04:15 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most of the terrorist organizations, even some communist
ones, like naxals, maoists and tamil tigers, are supported
by christian missionaries, who are agents of western-white-
christians, whose long term aim is to kill every body except
western-white-christians.

Atleast 95% of christians and muslims are terrorists
because they believe in killing and torturing humans
and animals as sacrificial offerings, and because they
believe that whole earth belong to them only.

Where as atleast 95% of hindus and buddhists are peace
loving because they do not believe in killing or torturing
any one as sacrificial offerings.

and/or myspace.com/rakesh22.

The fool piliticians
by Jeevan on Apr 24, 2008 06:44 PM  Permalink

Is there any civility left in these politicians.
In the parliament they are suppose to discuss and deliberate to find solutions to the problems of our country. On the contrary these folks resort to cheap tactics such as, giving slogans, abusing the ministers, asking for resignations, etc. It is so cheap and disgraceful. Grow up you disdain scoundrels!

Parliament Session
by Baby George on Apr 24, 2008 05:38 PM  Permalink

Our great leaders are sent to Parliament by the general public through elections, to govern the country in a proper and disciplined manner so that the country could earn a good name in the world through many ways such as normal cost of living, self sufficiency and best technology etc. etc. For sending them to Parliament and for their day to day luxorius affairs for long 5 years, crores and crores of rupees by way of heavy tax etc. are collected from general public especially from salaried people only. On the one hand, crores of people in India are suffering for want of atleast one time meal or proper cloth, even the less salaried who pays tax cannot eat sufficiently / clothed and on the other hand, they are enjoying like Kings. Of such hard earned money of public, not only many of them eat up most part by corrupted & 420 ways, they do not allow the government to work in a peaceful manner. They do not have any other business. Of course, misrule by the goverment, if any should be objected by the opposition. But the parliament is not for such ugly and shameful businesses. There should be some limit to their bad behaviour. What the parliamentarians are giving to the poor public by behaving like uneducated / uncultured people. Whether it is Congress or BJP or left or right, all are same. Now, since election is fast approaching, all parties, especially the opposition are only thinking about their future in the election. Such misbehaving leaders should be thrown out of the parl

Relieve me from Speaker's post
by Suresh Gowda on Apr 24, 2008 05:36 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Sonia made great sacrifice in 2004 (She was not eligible for PM of India is different matter).
Lot of congress leaders in Karnataka from Krishna to Sabhapathy in Udupi are making great Balidaan. (They knew that congress is headed for washout and why suffer in saffron surge).

Now is the time for Communists and other (pseudo) secularists to make great sacrifice for (pseudo) secularism. Communists will give 50 percent of seats in kerala and Waste Bengal to congress to help it survive. In saffron surge congress is going to get wiped out in Karnataka, Madhyapradesh, Rajasthan, Delhi, Chattisgarh and next years loksabha election and in Maharashtra. People will hail this revolutionary sacrifice of communists.

Communists can assure congress minimum of 30 seats in parliament with their Nandigram and Kannur style rigging and deriving inspiration from Stalin who killed all his opponents. While Waste Bengal continues to Wastest Bengal and Kerala will be Killing Field

It would be better to concede the request of Hon'ble Somnathjee and accept his resignation; if a questioner in Parliament challenges the figures given by the Minister, why should the Speaker "condemn" the MP who challenges; on the other hand he should ask the Minister to check the figures and come to the House; if the figures are proved to be wrong, privilege motion against the Minister should be taken.
