Yeah, the need for "Outer Ring Road for BELLARY" is must since it has been years that mining companies have been rampant in this region. As these HMVs take a route from city it has caused hell lot of problems to public health. So, this problem should be taken on priority !
As the coalititon govt falls the main reason which came into picture was Coal Ministry. These dewegowda clan was feeding for couple of decades on it and when the time came for power transfer the gowdas refused as the reasosn was cleaar if they transfer power to BJP the BJP being the 2nd largest [party will open and highlight all the gundraj happening in bellary coal fileds ofcourse handled by gowda clan...so the reason for election

adding to it while power transfer the gowda were ready for it but refused to give the coal ministry to BJP
Heavy Motor Vehicles filled with IRON ORE are using all the CITY roads, the suspended particle levels of BELLARY would be highest in INDIA. Visibility is less than 15 feet in the heart of the city. With around 50000 HMVs plying in these roads, people of BELLARY are having a real hard time. All these Mining Cartels, which are presently calling the shots in every political party, are minting money at the cost of PUBLIC HEALTH.

I am not from Karnataka and I don't live there. However, I have traveled a lot to K'taka over last 25 years and it's sad to see what has happened of this lovely state. When I first visited Gulbarga in 1984, I saw lots and lots of trees on both sides of many roads. Trees that one sees there are less than 15% of what they used to be. Needless to even speak of Bangalore. Between 1991 and 1993, I used to stay at a friend's place in RT Nagar. One needed only a fan during the day. Even that was switched off in the night. Today, the poor fan simply churns the hot air your way. Yes, now people seem to drink more bear, they have mobile phones, more money in their pockets, wider roads, more cars and what not. Where the hell is the life gone?

No one is looking about north karnataka its irony that major misters from north karnataka and two chief minsters from same place. If they are really want to do some thing come to gulbarga bidar and other places and see the living standards. If nothing happens its for sure karnataka will in trouble... This message is to all political parties....

Congress's CM Candidate (this is pre-election indications, post election reality may be different) is from North Karnataka and he has been representing this part of Karnataka for a long time now and yet the development is almost totally nil. Yet, he has ambitions of becoming the CM should the Congress come to power and chances are that a majority of voters will vote for him.

Hahaha. you are very right. I've hardly heard BJP sulk about betrayal from JD(S) in the past few weeks. They have chalked out plans for development.

...that the elected representatives of Karnataka have been busy all these years developing themselves and not the state.
Successive batch of MPs and MLAs have not bothered to work for developing their respective areas and make their voice heard in Delhi - because of this attitud different areas like railways, roadways, Mangalore Port, etc have been far far behind than the rest of the country...hope this time around the MPs and MLAs move their a%$ and start working
