Shri Munde's effort to make BJP more Bahujan - give more space to those who are at the bottom of Hindu society is an effort which should be encouraged.
However it will make immense sense to talk out inside the party.
Nobody could make much of a change after leaving the parent organization, even if she were as charismatic as Uma Bharati, or Babulal Marandi.

is that so? On the contrary it looks like behind most of these serious problems faced by BJP there is ambition by RSS to control the party. Be it LK Advani's so-called Jinnah-praise, Uma Bharati's rebellion or Madanlal Khurana's coup. RSS is trying to weed out people from BJP who don't dance to their tunes, and retain the teddy bears like Gadkari who cannot move unless being told to do so.

Quota of different type. BJP gives token representation to OBC / ST /ST etc and therefore a token mascot is chosen from among all these groups. Modi is one such mascot. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is another type of Mascot.

BJP wants to wash off its upper caste brahmin-baniya image
He cannot lead BJP to success in Maharashtra single handedly like Modi. Ever since he got taste of power, BJP in Mahara has been deteriorating. Munde did not work hard in last assembly election, and now because his godfather late Pramod Mahajan is not there to cover him, he is frustrated & depressed. Even if he leaves party, it would be in BJP's best interest, as Nitin Gadkari the current Mahar unit chief is doing great job.
