Marathis lost all the major battles they fought. They talk about the battles of Panipat. Let's talk about them. Wikipedia gives me the following info about these battles:
a) The First Battle of Panipat (1526), between the Mughal Babur against the Delhi Sultan Ibrahim Lodi b) The Second Battle of Panipat (1556), between the Mughal Akbar the Great against Adil Shah Suri and Hemu c) The Third Battle of Panipat (1761), between the Afghans against the Marathas. So it was the third battle of Panipat which involved the Marathas.
The end result of the third battle of Panipat (read wikipedia about it) was complete destruction of Marathas. They were defeated so soundly that they ran helter-skelter in whatever direction possible. Some of them ran into the hills of what is Uttarakhand today. That is why we have so many Joshis, Babulkars, and Pants in Uttarakhand today. But these are good people unlike their Maharashtrian cousins who only know how to torture and rape unarmed people. So the summary is that bravery of Marathas is a fiction created by their writers. In reality, Marathas were born losers and lost every major battle that they fought.
Dear Guys, what you are today is because of your nature and thinking irrespective of from where you are. It is shame that people believe in what SP says - SP is a party which has been throne out of UP and they are now saying that 2 women are raped. Hundreds of women are getting raped in your own state. I have been to Bareli where my host told me that dont go out of house after 7pm though I am a man. If this is the case in UP then you can point towards others. You can say whatever to Raj and other politicians but dont say anything to common marathi manus. Maharashtra and mumbai are like is a big brother to other states as its share in the national income is about 40%. Had maharashtrians/south indians been like up/biharis we would been worst than bangladesh/pakistan.

I agree with u regarding law & order condition of UP. if it is true,what abu azmi says then he should come out with the facts and the convict should be punished irrespective of his region.No one can have different opinion. The problem with you, that u don't understand that Mumbai & Maharashtra are not big brothers, it is the state and city like any other Indian state and city,as far as the prosperity in Mumbai, is concerned, it is solely contributed by migrant population.
It is Govt. of India, Gujarati & Rajasthani people who are investing to make Mumbai richer, just imagine can u survive without them.
Pl. don't feel offended and don't take it personal, If you campare Maharashtra( excluding Mumbai & Pune) with UP, u will find UP richer and more developed than many parts of of Maharashtra.
MNS is the party who supported the molesters of 2 girls in Juhu area during the night of this 31st December. What more to expect from Raj Thackarey. Maharashtrians are decent ppl but all this Raj and his supporters r the group of hooligans and molesters.
Once upon a time there was a place called British India where Indians used to fight against Britishers for freedom. Now there is a place called India where Indians fight against Indians just to create hatred amongst others, reservations, caste recognition etc. Looking at the way Ppl are fighting I feel British India was much better than the Current India bcos there was some unity between Indians prior to 1947. Why did Bhagat Singh, Mahatma Gandhi, Pt Jawaharlal Nehru,Subhash Chandra Bose and many other freedom fighters shed their blood for our country's freedom and went to jail. I wish Bhagat Singh cud have been some good Engineer or other professional instead of giving his life for India at the age of 23. Even Other freedom fighters cud have become gr8 professionals. It is good that these freedom fighters are no more alive to see the present condition of India otherwise they might have cried looking at the way ppl fight amongst themselves. There is no country in the world which recognises its citizens statewise. Every Country's Citizens recognize each other as a citizen of their country. Its only in India where ppl treat each other as Marathi,Gujarathi, South Indian, Bengali, Bihari Etc. If this scenerio continues then when the world is abt to get destroyed or when there wud be a world war 3 India wud be the first country to get destroyed bcos of Lack of Unity. Marathis claim that they are great defenders of Hinduism in India. This sounds like a cruel joke. The three main Marathi kings Holkars, Scindias and Peshwas spent most of their time fighting each other and killing fellow Marathi Hindus. So, I wonder, when did they find time to defend the Hindus? Unless of course they meant that by killing fellow hindus they were actually defending them! And read this article. The people killed by Raj Thakre and his MNS are all hindus. So Marathis are indeed 'great defenders' of us Hindus.
Maharastra is a state of racist Marathis, who took away everything from the rest of India: Reserve Bank of India, State Bank, General Insurance, LIC, every other banks and financial institutions, Air-India, almost all public sector industries by racist politicians like Deshmukh, YB Chavan, SK Patil, Morarji Desai( a Gujarati), etc etc. They are all Racist Marathis. Yes, Shivaji was not a Marathi at all: he was a Rajput. Marathi Brahmins refused to recognize him. After his death, his army was infiltrated by the Marathis, who has turned it into a gang of rapists, murderers, looters and became a stooge for the Mughal Empire. Shivaji could not be associated with this band of Borgis, who are nothing but the forefathers of criminals like Bal Thakre, Raj Thakre, Pramod Mahajan, Sharad Pawar, Prativa Patil, and so on --- this is the Hall of Fame for the Marathis.

marathi manus should not only be given 80% reservation in maharastra but also 50% for all of india... as they have suffered from northies as well as southies indeed they should be given SCST quota. Now there sole talent is abusing UPites biharies n tamilians.. which is a true sense of patriotism... added to their educational qualification should be written "descendents of shivagi".. which should get them job anywhere... and they should also be given extra merit as thier farmers and poor junta who have nothin to eat do thier excretional activities in well furnished toilets!!!!

Haan If U are given 50% reservation also in rest of India then India wud be the most corrupt country in the world. I agree that other religions also take bribes but not to such an extent as the marathis do. In Maharastra except Income Tax Dept in all other govt dept majority are Maharashtrians. Maharashtrians are jeolous of other religions bcos except Marathi Brahmins all other subcastes are low in educational qualification.The true fact is Marathis are lazy to learn. They want to make easy money. Other religions specially, south Indians, Gujarathis, Sindhis and Bengalis work hard, Study and acquire maximum possible qualifications and so they tend to get better job prospects. In this modern world of globalizations many MNC's are entering India and just with a SSC or HSC certificate one cannot get into a better job. In the govt depts in Maharashtra when I walk in for some work staffs ask me on face "Sir Chai Pani Kuch Do Na" and I use to ignore them bcos I m against Corruption and so they wont do my work also. So I suffer a lot in my profession as a lawyer. I don't know how to change myself. Marathis only know to earn money by taking bribes and other illegal ways. Other castes get enuf salary bcos of their qualification so they prosper in every field they go. This is the reason Y Marathis are against other religion.If All the other remaining Religions In India stand United and fight back against Marathis then they wud be like mosquitoes.
