"For the first time in the history of modern south Asia, a constitution is to be written in an assembly that is more representative than any other in the subcontinent."
I wonder how this guy can say something as stupid as this. The constitution is yet to be written, and this guy is singing praises already ..!
Electing a Maoist party to power is one thing .. and living with its consequences is quite another thing. When states like Bengal and Kerala, which were quite progressive and reasonably developed, have been driven back to the stone age by these leftist jokers... I wonder what will happen to Nepal, which is already one of the poorest countries in the world.

I agree with the 'leftist jokers' part but hope that Maoists of Nepal take their country forward!
This victory is a boon or bane will depend upon how Indian Government reacts in the next few months.
It is easy to oppose some provider while in opposition, but when you are in the seat and responsible for feeding then you need to listen to conditions of the provider.
Lets hope that reason falls on the ears of the winners in Nepal and they dont push themselves into a position of trouble.
Nepali people must be congrtalated for their courage and wisdom.Nepali nation should be recognised as a HINDU nation only as liberty lives with indian culture only. There is no use of secular state because only indian culture is secular and htrer is no use of word secular except exploiting the masses.Long live Nepal

An armed militia can terrorised the people under its influence zone, not others. The nexus between naxals (a variant of marxism) and church is quite estblished. There is nothing new in this analysis. It is a part of an endevour to tame a civilization that is proving too tough despite its apparent weaknesses. Only few patches in Asia remained unconverted.
As per Mr. Prachanda's interview yesterday (published in TOI today), it seems that he is threatening us (India) to continue the supply of goods to Nepal. I think he does not realise if we get angry what will happen to Nepal and all the Nepalees living in our country.

Communist/Maosist are known to be brainless. I am sure that Prachanda will speak some more non-sense and victims will be ordinary nepali as commies will get their daily supply from China/send(smuggled) by indian commies.
