This is absolutely correct. The Bodh Gaya Mahabodhi Temple should be administered by a Buddhist Committee. A state government that has decided to establish a University at Nalanda with international help should not delay forming the proper Committee.
Bodhgaya Mahabodhi Temple should be rule and Govt by the Buddhist people and only buddhist people should management the committee. If other non buddhist comes in the management then the temple will go worst and one day it will be vinish. Because of Buddhist temple the lots of Foregin tourist come to India and Bhair state is also improving a lot. Remember Buddhism is the main History of India and every one knows the fact and science can prove it. It is very easy in India to blame anything and everything on Hindutva. While it is really sad that there is no proper management in the holiest Shrine, efforts hould be towards getting that right than blame on somethings else.
This is not an exception in India. Many Hindu shrines has got non-hindu persons as Executive Officers. In some holy shrines of Hindu, Govt even encouraged preachings of other religion
As of now we have enough tension between religions, castes, faiths, sects etc. Don't create another one for cheap publicity. If you are concerned with a sad plight of the shrine just talk about that - not some pre-conceived notions that are your own.
