India should become more primitive
by messengerfromHell on Apr 17, 2008 12:29 PM  Permalink

India is not fit to accomodate modern technologies .

Best is replace Busses with Horse carts , Horses are better drivers and safer than this bus .

They are also as fast as the Bus owing to the condition of the road . Alteast Horses wont jump into a canal ...

NATIONAL CALAMITY
by Ananthapadmanabhan on Apr 17, 2008 09:11 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This is a pure national calamity. Loosing 41 innocent kids is a disaster to their family.

I don't know what STC depots are maintaining the vehicles. All the old vehicles in the service needs to be condemned.

Ferrying of School children in buses and their speed limit should not be more 40 Km.

Transport department should be blamed for this calamity.

I sincerely pray to God for the innocent souls to be rest in peace.

Ananth-Chennai

Bus accident Article mis understood
by Sheetal Kaur on Apr 17, 2008 03:37 AM  Permalink

There is nothing wrong with the comment,
all of you are are interrupting the sentence wrongly,
Read again.
"People from the nearby villages started the rescue work after the accident. Jakir Hussain, resident of a nearby town, said that he, along with his friends, fished out bodies of 25 students. "This is a humanitarian work for us and we do not think in terms of religion at the time of such mishap," he said.""
From his name it seems that he is a muslim who has thrown religion aside and is helping the rescue regardless who the children were or what religion they belonged to.
To him it does not matter.
Every one has taken his comment the wrong way and has stated abusing each other.
READ AGAIN AND AGAIN YOU WILL SOON SEE THE SENSE
BEFORE ANY ONE STARTS ABUSING MY COMMENT READ THE ARTICLE AGAIN WITH COOL HEAD.
NEITHER THE COMMENTATOR IS WRONG NOR REDIFF IS AT FAULT.
