That's nice!!! I did not know politicians give these to get votes from men. Probably they will start giving cash, liquor and women also to get more votes...

Rajnikant (Anna) will be a happy man once TN and KA are merged. Poor chap he is unnecessarily being dragged into everything... no matter how much he tries to be good to both sides.
And Karnataka can have Jaya amma as the CM. Kishna can go back to MH.

Rajanikanth is not poor chap but very rich enough to feed all poorer people in tamilnadu round the year.but he never gives any thing for charities or for social cause or never did anything to people of karnataka or tamilnadu where he earned name and fame and become rich. he should have given 10% of his earning for the poorer section of people.what about RS 1 crore promise he made to NDA govt on ganga-kavari river merger scheme.thanks to dmk/congress came to power, this money of RS 1 crore was saved by him (may be both parties would have got some share in above sum for dropping this project initiated by NDA GOVT)

tamil nadu , karnataka , bihar all in the same league , i doubt even andhra will join this way of practise because the similarity in them is using the uneducated class and labor class for their advantage....that is why film stars are gods in karnataka, TN and andhra..
Writing on wall of Karnataka was clear that BJP will be routed in the next polls. Desperate, the BJP aspirants started a cheap gimmicks by distributing freebies from insurance certificates to free sarees to win the next elections by hook or crook. To them, whatever they do,people will vote Congress to power that is for certain.Congress is aware of the machinations of the BJP and they will counter with such offers for common that will alleviate their sufferings.EC should immediately intervene to stop these cheap gimmicks and they must be barred from contesting elections as they are corrupting the voters.Congress and its allies are just promising what is plausible once they come to power to implements such popular schemes that will help the common man most. Muslims and other minorities are solidly behind the Congress and their vote is a tilting factor. BJP and Gowdas will bite dust soon. It will be an end of the BJP in South India where they were dreaming to make a foot hold. People of Karnataka are very shrewd voters and they are peace loving secular and they are aware of the machinations of the BJP and Gowdas. They have therefore decided to vote Congress to power. Added to this is the return of famous Krishna to the state politics and he will work hard to bring back the golden rule of Congress for the betterment of the people. I appeal to all voters to vote for Congress and not communal parties that will ruin the placid atmosphere of the state. Communal harmony must be first.

I would love to see the reverse number for JDS 02 & not 20. They sold out the entire state.
Yes, these things need to be checked. But there is not a lot any officer can do about it. so, dont cry hoarse. At the same time - it is the good thought that voters are always smart and winners anyway, need to be kept in mind. Such gimmicks will only have a limited role and the voters always do the apt churning of the giri.
It is a God sent chance to prove that the politicians are selfish. Dear Karnataka friends. Please elect good, really good people from each constituency in karnataka with the basic requisites and conditions. 1. He should not have deserted his/her leader and party in the past. 2. Never aspired for the post of Ministership in the past. 3. Never made any attempt to induct his sons/daughters/wives(?) in politics. 4. Never having politics as a profession and depends on party posts/Govt posts for their livelyhood. 5. He should have his own profession for his livelhood. beit a shoe repairer, a peasant, a shop keeper, a pot maker..(ot killer profession, goondaism, bootlegging and the like) 6. Never see the party divides/ affliations/groupings. Such a Good person is available in any party/ indpendant can be voted. 7. All such good hearted service minded persons will elect their good leaders and better governance.
These are no means to get the votes. For last 5 years they won't show their faces and when the elections will nearer they get up from their hibernation to lure people with all gifts. These gift are bought by the money which they ammassed during these 5 years from these people.Ones the election is over all will go to hibernate again for next 5 years. If they would have done quality work for these people for 5 years they needn't have to introduce themselves.Mera Bharat Mahan!!!
