Karnataka Needs a regional party
by vanday on Apr 16, 2008 02:59 PM  Permalink

Like most of the states Karnataka needs a regional party so that if is high time to kick off this national parties away from karnataka. Wake up kannadigas wake up it is high time lets not fight with each other brahims, Lingaths, muslims or christains but still we are kannadigas so lets make a party and say bye bye to this money makers, the looters, and what ever we call it right. They have not done anything to the karnataka but sure they have done a lot for their familes so stand up and lets have a party and develop our state and lets keep it name high. Jai Karnataka Matha.

Why BJP is doing cheap politics?
by Die Hard on Apr 16, 2008 03:46 AM  Permalink

It is understandable that Congress is a corrupt party and it is doing all cheap politics like distributing freebies. But why the so called party with the difference (BJP) is doing all this nasty politics?.

If they need votes they will brand Osama as a Ghandian as they called Jinnah a secular leader.

India must have reservations till 85% of marriages are inter-caste.

Till then,
Vote for candidates from YOUR caste only.

how is all this tamil eelam thing related to the article?? Anyway i chose to post this bcoz I found the name you used "Pirapaharan" very funny to say the least.
It is supposed to be "Prabhakaran"!!!!
Lemme guess how the name degenerated to "Pirapaharan" :
1. Prabhakaran becomes Pirabhakaran as in Tamil, you can not write as you pronounce "pra", it is written as "pira".
2.Pirabhakaran becomes Pirabakaran as (I think) there is no difference in Tamil between "bha" and "ba"
3. this is where it begins to become funny, Pirabakaran becomes Pirapakaran as in Tamil, the consonants representing "pa" and "ba" are same!
4.This is the funniest part, as to how Pirapakaran becomes Pirapaharan! Lemme guess, again in tamil, the consonant for "ha" and "ga" are same, that's why you see Tamilians (mis)pronouncing "Mahesh" as "Magesh". And incidentally, (I think) the consonants for "ga" and "ka" are also the same! so transitively "Pirapakaran" becomes "Pirapaharan".

That's the story of how Prabhakaran became Pirapaharan
What a language!!!

PS : Now did I hear somebody accusing me being an Aryan!?

Boss....first of all u should understand....tamil lettters would be properly pronounced along with the next letter....the same 'ka' will be pronounced as 'ka' in kadal...and will be pronounced as 'ha' in karaham....and will be pronounced as 'ga' in Aagayam....it is the speciality of Tamil and no other language has it...by the way the example name Maghesh is not a tamil name...we tamilian knows how to prononce it...we don't need ur certificate.....Tamil is the oldest language in India and do not come with the mix of Arabic,Urdu and Sanskirit.....Hindi do not have a base.....just a mixture.

dear Neo intellectual

good analysis. i also want to add

in tamil, there is a single consonant for ka, kha, ga and gha

similarily there is no jha in tamil. you have to substitute with tcza

but still it is a glories language not because of periyar movement but this language was totally used by the 12 alvars to praise LORD KRISHNA in their DIVYA PRABHANDAMS.

this is where the tamils counter themselves. they donot accept GOD so donot consider the rich tamil existing in divya prabhandams.

"this is where the tamils counter themselves. they donot accept GOD so donot consider the rich tamil existing in divya prabhandams." - I did not fully understand that.
What do you mean by tamils not accepting GOD? Do you mean that accepting a Brahminical North Indian (sic) god like Krishna praised in Tamil,is difficult for the hard-core Northie/Brahmin hating MK-style Dravida fellows?

Is TN full of these paranoids?

Also is my impression true that there appears to be 2 flavours of tamil : 1. The Brahminical tamil with liberal dollops of Sanskrit in it and 2. The non-Brahminical tamil, with hardly any traces of tamil.

they added ''er''in sanskrit word.sanskrit is the mother language for all languages in the world.go to indonesia, thailand, combodia, you can find many words are of sanskrit.i have a muslim

foreigners value sanskrit, but indians forget the mother of all language.tamil is great but

India's food problems are of its own making. Reform of the services and financial sectors has happened, but not of the agricultural sector, on which 65% of India depends for a livelihood.

%u2014Manjeet Kripalani, Eye on Asia
why no article in rediff on agriculture shows how bad reforms and interests in food.
