The Congress ruling our country
by rahul tyagi on Apr 14, 2008 10:13 PM  Permalink

They aren't really related to the Mahatma Gandhi in any way. After all, Madame Sonia declared she had only Rs. 20,000/- in her account when she filed her papers. Why would she need more? You and me, the rich, the poor, the common, the elite - all pay taxes so that she can live a lavish life.

The PM should be someone who has some knowledge about running affairs of the state. What has Rahul done for his constituency and are the people happy with him there.

By the way, Karuna's daughter is also a contender in Dream Cabinet prepared on this board under the kiddish leadership of great grandson of PUNDIT JAWAHAR LAL NEHRU, s/o leading Lawyer Motilal Nehru. About Lawyers character read Ganhiji's autobiography.

Chamchagiri.
Did Churchill say so:
Power will go to the hands of rascals, rogues and freebooters. All Indian leaders will be of low caliber and men of straw. They will have sweet tongues and silly hearts. They will fight among themselves for power and India will be lost in political squabbles.

The Gandhi Family.........and Our Country
by rahul tyagi on Apr 14, 2008 10:12 PM  Permalink

It is as much a matter lack of individual dignity and respect as it is for the nation that even the Congressmen have been unable to find a %u201Ctrue%u201D leader. The Congress seems to have become an archaic organisation, now crumbling under the weight of its own political greed, which has perpetuated the succession of the Nehruvian line in the first place. Indira Gandhi was placed as Nehru%u2019s successor and a very much reluctant Rajiv as Indira%u2019s successor. It was the grossest form of abuse of democracry to place an unelected candidate in the highest office of the country simply by virtue of his or her birth %u2013 a most serious crime - against a state and its citizens.Yet we have not learned from our mistakes. We continue to repeatedly fawn and glorify the one family that has been responsible for the partition of India, the pathetic state of affairs for almost three decades and for making a mockery of the democratic system of governance by twisting laws and legislations to their own advantage. Take Rahul Gandhi for example, for someone who professes so much patriotism %u2013 %u201CRahul baba%u2019s%u201D tastes surprisingly incline towards the exotic!! He has %u201CZ%u201D category security, lives in the house that erstwhile Prime Ministers lived in, has a foreign GF (a hereditary trait from his father) and of course, goes abroad every once in a while on all expenses paid trips. And all this paid by the %u201Caam aadmi%u201D What a life!!Now how can we ask anyone from the Gandhi family......sorry, Nehru family? They aren't real

What is so Great about the Gandhi's???????
by rahul tyagi on Apr 14, 2008 10:06 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

People want Rahul as PM.....It%u2019s not very hard to believe, especially since the very people who are supposedly %u201Celect%u201D to govern (not rule) our country seem to be working against the interests of our country! Who do we turn to? Rahul Gandhi? Here is one %u201Ctrue%u201D Indian. He is ready to face a prison sentence for Dalits, go on a tour to %u201Cdiscover%u201D the real India, give up his million dollar career (which we are yet to figure out) to take on the mantle of responsibility of the %u201Caam aadmi%u201D; RG would do anything for OUR country - all in lieu of one thing %u2013 the %u201Cthrone%u201D of India.
The Nehru family%u2019s sanguivorous attitude is veering dangerously close to despotism. Madame Gandhi, for one, has declared her son as the heir apparent. Hence for everyone in the Congress as well as the rest of the country, Rahul Gandhi is now presumed to be the legal heir to the throne of the %u201Crajya%u201D. All self-respecting Indians should die of SHAME. Where is our national pride? Dead and gone along with the rest of our ancient culture. THERE IS NO ONE. Not one true blooded Indian, born and brought up in India who can come forward to lead the country for the sake of its people and not just for himself. And if this is our condition, then may be we deserve the %u201Crulers%u201D we get. If this is the mindset we have, the immaturity and the callousness we exhibit, then we deserve the apathy we receive from our so called %u201Cleaders%u201D.
It is as much a matter lack of individual dignity and respect as it is for the nation th

Ask Karuna, if Rahul is a from backward community. Also ask him whether he prefer to have lunch or dinner with Dalits or backwards? He would like to dine and sleep with Rahul who is forward.

Karuna is mentally BACKWARD

Rahul,
Very well said ...I think the Congrees should be ashamed that they cannot find one person in heir cadre to lead them , who has substantial experience of governance . So they have to take recourse to ask a certain Rahul Gandhi to take over the mantle of the country ...Have the senior members of COngress lost any credibility that they need to ask a novice to lead their country only because a GANDI ( the literal meaning in Gujrati ) ....
Shame on congress and shame on all its party cadres ...

INDIA .... a Cricket ground for baccha PM would be...
by Sunil Kumar on Apr 14, 2008 10:05 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I do not understand how these congress people are running the country. Congress has been mostly in power after India gained independence and the most experienced leaders have committed some grave mistakes (like Kashmir issue, dealing with China, etc.) and we are still facing problem with what they have put us in.

Now they want to make a baccha PM... Is it a Cricket ground...and, lastly, is it monarcy that we are living in? I do not know when a viable opposition will come into picture and question these acts by the government

Leave the Congies alone, who have no sense of respect, sense of shame, who have no brains and all want to be only slaves of Gandhi family. But what about Sharad Powar, Praful (prafool?) Patel, Karunanidhi, (we have yet to hear the Chinese lobby in India, i.e. the Leftists)! What a national shame!!

it doesn't matter
by Krishna on Apr 14, 2008 10:02 PM  Permalink

It doesn't matter who is the PM. Since the death of Indira Gandhi CM's are powerful than PM's. MGR, NTR and Jyoti Basu were more powerful than Rajiv Gandhi. Kalyan Singh was more powerful than PVN Rao during Babri masjid demolition. Narendra Modi was more powerful than Vajpayee during gujarat riots. Now the likes of Karunanidhi are more powerful than Manmohan singh. We live in a era of coalition politics, where states command more respect than center.
