It is very sad to note that the organisation which is more than 123 years old has no fit candidate outside a particular family. If Rahul Khan (aka Rahul Gandhi) has to become the PM just because he is from the family, then it shows the dearth of talent we have. The second problem is congress can no longer attract fresh blood and talent - because if you dont have a good lineage you cannot grow - see Scindia is a minister - Could he have become the minister had he not been the son of Madhavroa? So a promising youngster who does not have a famous father will not join Congress - so congress will be bereft with good ideas and talented youth and will eventually become a small force shortly.

Thank you pope for the lovely comments but can you look at your own house first and then comment on Advani.
If Advani is waiting to be PM after working for so many years in India, you lovely useless Roadshow expert Rahu is expecting to be PM since his childhood. Though he is not even capable to win any state elections, he is dreaming to be Indias PM .. How do you comment on it?

This will surely help the BJP to come to power. With Sonias blessings Manmohan should immediately resign and make Rahul as PM without waiting shamelessly for the orders of Madam !
Rahul baba should also ensure that inflation goes beyond 10% making life miserable for everyone.
too young and inexperienced, needs stints in the government before pm, this is mature position we are talking about. I wont risk an upstart in the government helm
Remember Loius XVI he had nothing to do with the misery of the frenchmen but was surrounded by noblemen who were all enjoying the benefits of being in power.
What happened next? The French Revolution. All the King/Queen and noble men were guillotned.
Thats what gonna happen next if by any chance Rahul Gandhi becomes the PM of India.

Imagine the Congress leadership were actually relieved that Rahul had broken off with his girl friend.......Otherwise they would have had complications making him PM.......But what can we say about the Congress .....Their PM's are never the choice of the people or have not needed to stand for elections to become PM's......Point in case our present PM.........

India will prosper if Manmohan quits rightnow and makes way for RG.
This PM is spineless and useless blames US for price rice and inflation. We have FM who blames everyone except his policies that have ruined our country and making all bankrupt.
Rahul is young, you see, young! Time for Bhismapitmahas like Arjun Singhs and Karunanidhis to take a back seat and give the youth a chance. It was abundantly clear that all leaders born before 1940 only succeeded in leading India to dark ages. There is still some home left in the young blood and it should be given its due.

Yes I agree, there is no one except Rahul the great to lead Congress party. Karunanidhis of India cannot see beyond Khan-Gandhi family. All those heroes who died for freedom from 'gora rule' have died in vain. 'Goras and their descendants are superior and only they can run the country!

Why Rahul's name has suddenly come.He is not exeptionally bright to be named as Prime Ministerial candidate. It is only sycophancy and nothing else. Yes ,I agree, young blood should come. They r more energetic and go getter. But then there r many more young people like Pilot, Sindia,Lalit Modi, Kalanidhi Maran, Ambani Brothers, Rajendra Pachauri,Sunil Mittal, Ravi Shankar Prasad and many more. In America they r searchin the Presdential candidate for many more months. Yet they could not decide yet, whome they will prefer. In our country it is so easily said that a perticular person should be a Prime Ministerial candidate and others without thinking support it. I wish ,we r more careful in such proposals.

In Congress only 2 people can talk all other only listen - SG and RG
This is a drama by Arjun Singh to scuttle other PM hopefuls and pour cold water on all others. It is like if you do not get to become PM then do not allow your peers to be one either.

With a low literacy rate it was cake walk for the worst PM of India ( who else but Indira Feroze Khan)ever to win elections. Not any more. If the educated class take the trouble of casting their vote consciously this dynastic rule will not happen ever again. There are still people with selfish self interests and slavish mentality among us. We should out number them and give the power to experienced capable leaders. The future of billions of Indians and their childrens should be taken care of by patrioutic leaders not by this useless dynasty. Together we can decide our destiny. Good luck.
Rahul was star campaigner in UP assembly elections and he did lot of campaigning in other assembly elections which were held in last 1 year. Congress lost all of them and did not gain any thing from his campaigning. Even rural people have become clever and rejected him. Rahul is a looser and if he is projected as PM then UPA will definitely loose

I am also a Dravidian but would not butter anyone. Please just keep your racist thoughts to yourself, if your forefathers have taught you 'Sanskars' of good behaviour.
