Rahul as PM Ha Ha Ha
by jogarao munjuluri on Apr 14, 2008 11:39 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

MK supporting Joker Rahul as PM next term itself is an insult to MMSingh but he has to do it to justify Stalin becoming CM. All this assumes both congress jokers at centre and DMK fellows on TN come to power. Rahul is a bacchha and will be exploited by all htese jackals and disown him like they did to Rajiv. Italian lady sshd be clever enough to see this.

you are right. He is just trying to justify Stalin opting for the top job.

The way Sonia handled tactfully all these jackles after last election is quite commendable.

She surely would not allow Rahul get exploited by these jackles. She is a wise politician.

Now.

RE:The BJP claims it Unifies Hindus. Yet it fans rife between Tamilians and Kannadigas. Why? The BJP in Karnataka is party of Lingayats, led by Yediruppa. The Lingayata are the most casteist community in India. Why?

Lingayats claim that they abolished caste system and yet they are the most casteist in India. All other communities must adopt tactical voting to defeat Lingayat (BJP) rule - vote any party well placed to beat Lingayat (BJP) candidate in any constituency. Make BJP forfeit deposit. Last time BJP forfeited deposit in 42 seats. This time we can aim to triple it

RE:A myth is created that Divisive Politics is Good Politics
by rajana on Apr 14, 2008 11:06 PM  Permalink
he Hogenakkal drinking water supply scheme is being implemented by Tamil Nadu on the basis of a No Objection certificate by the Centre. The NOC was issued by the Centre on September 21, 1998 after convening a meeting of both the States on June 29, 1998. At the meeting, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka had agreed not to object to drinking water supply schemes as long as the State concerned utilised water from its allocated share.

The then Karnataka Chief Minister J.H. Patel of JD(S) - former ally of BJP had been the signatory to the NoC.

This is the reason why in this whole tamasha the JD(S) is quiet.

The BJP, Tamil Nadu unit and its ally, AIDMK (both entered into an alliance agreement for the coming polls in Karnataka) spearheaded the opposition pressure on Karunanidhi to react. The BJP, Karnataka meanwhile is trying to milk the issue to gain votes. Rascals

Facts in 1998

1. BJP government at the Center
2. DMK ally of BJP at Center
3. JD(S) led by Son of Soil - Deva Gowda party in Kanataka

Questions

1. If Hogenakkal disputed terrority, why all these parties signed NoC?
2. BJP in power with JD(S) for 2 years, why they did not raise Hogenakkal and why now - two months before elections

BJP is a Lingayat Party in Karnataka. Lingayats are the most casteist community in India. Hogenakkal is only a foretaste of Yediruppa rule. But then, all other communities against Lingayats. So Yediruppa will end like Advani- Perpetual CM-in-Waiting

Wasting time and testing waters
by PKN on Apr 14, 2008 11:04 PM  Permalink

I think that this debate about Rahul Gandhi being the PM is a ploy by 10 Janpath to test the waters! The whole thing is a drama being enacted with the help of a few irrelevant allies and few baised members of the visual and print media.
If Rahul wishes to become the next PM , the first hurdle that he must cross is to get the people support and win enough seats .
The Karunanithi and Arjun Singh who share nothing more than senility can hardly expect Rahul to become the PM just becuase he has got their verbal endorsement.
This is on the same lines of the NDA who has announced Advani as the next PM without as much as considering whether the people want him ot not.
Both the UPA and the NDA are merely making a mockery of our democratic traditions.
