RE:OBC means OBC

It is the Dalits and OBCs who fight with each other. The Brahmins are not fighting with anyone. That is why Ambedkar married a Brahmin. That is why Mayawati took the help of Brahmins in UP. So stop spreading your ignorance and hatred.
It's a good article that throws light on the Factors/Features determining 'Backwardness'. I think even more light need to be shed on this which very often neglected to equip people. So that more meaningful discussions can take place which brings more awareness among people abt reservations, those who oppose it and those who support it.
Excellent article - however, yadavs, kurmis and koeris are also OBC and they are quite powerful everywhere. Yadavs, for instance, abuse SCs to the hilt. They are some of the biggest oppressors.
The article raises valid questions. We need more detail about the castes included in the list and the caste and family background of beneficiaries under OBC quota.
I suggest there should be a time limit for any law made for reservation. It cant be done for an infinite period of time.secondly if a person gets the benefits of reservation, his son/daughter and thereafter his son/daughter must not get the benefits of reservation. This will serve the purpose of benefitting as many needy people as possible within the shortest possible time.Once a man gets the benefits of reservation he comes out of social backwardness(atleast this is what our politicians and constitution would like us to believe. so where is the need to give reservation to his son/daughter??? please give me a sound reason for giving reservation to someone whose mom/dad already had the benefits of reservation for their education/jobs/promotion/transfer/ministerial berths and dont know what not?
A message posted in rediff which was almost immediately rendered abuse (wonder why) called the whole opposition against creamy layer as a facade. Why so - because it the creamy layer within the OBCs who can most likely not only fill the quotas but also challenge the so-call forward castes.
In industry as well as in government, though qualified candidates apply, they are failed and the position is kept vacant for 3 years so that it is dereserved by the forward castes who often practice nepotism by favoring their own relatives or caste community.
Once the creamy layer is knocked out, then these vacancies will be filled by the general category. So the SC cunningly maintains the status quo while seeming to give a progressive verdict.

the so called creamy layer is the biggest oppressor of all people including FCs. They also number the most in most companies and govt.
nepotism? Yes, it exists everywhere like telugus favouring telugus, bongs favouring bongs, etc. also, obcs like yadavs are the biggest perpretrators of nepotism. Even SCs use nepotism a lot based on the stupid feeling that "that guy is my guy". laloo filled yadavs (and muslims) in all police stations as heads across bihar. yadavs got great clout in both UP and bihar under laloo and mulayam. under mayawati, her caste people and some so called rich dalits grew in clout. however, barring a few cases, such mass nepotism did not occur under FC rule.
But in private industry, we don't even ask for the castes of people. if they do in govt, why don't you ask for this horrible practice to be discontinued instead of asking for reservations???
I see a lot of competition among FCs. nepotism exists but the competition often takes the cake and i have seen FCs competing fiercely with FCs of even the same caste. however, BCs take is easy because they know they have reserved seats at the next level.
just because qualified candidates apply doesn't mean they are qualified for the job. that has to be decided by the interviewer and not your whims and fancies. relatives of all failed candidates, whatever the caste, say the same thing - they allege discrimination even when it did not take place.
about the message abuse, that happens with me as well. Quite a few

(contd.) about the message abuse, that happens with me as well. Quite a few of my anti-quota messages were rendered abuse just yesterday. In one of them, i had merely stated that VPsingh, the champion of reservations, himself goes to London for his blood change.
Good analysis. We can only hope people who matter (politicians, MLA's MP's) read your article and have guts to speak their mind. The Prime Minister will not speak out because he wants to work for some more time. Finance Minister will strongly support because other wise he cannot get re-elected from Tamilnadu.

People who matter (politicians) already know that they are cheating the public. They know all your logic, everything - but they still won't do anything against it because they are simply out to cheat us, not to bestow growth on us.
This analysis is for us to equip ourselves with the reasons why reservation is wrong, esp so for oppressors.
Government should provide first compulsory a good basic free, quality (facility, infrastructure etc.) education to all, irrespective of caste or creed, rich or poor, (i.e, upto 12 yrs compulsory education as per constitution) so that everyone should be educative to solve reservation which may creates unnessary social problems in future.
