Dr.Satya..this article of yours is very well written and explained,i just wish & hope in misery that our Govt. atleast do some research on our ancient history. The problem here only is research, which as u mentioned cant be done on something which existed millions of year ago but I personally feel, if it is tried it wont be a surprise if some sort of evidence come up. In time of Ramyana Valmiki mentioned about Plane...n dat too a Vertical take off and landing(pushpak) which in modern times humans r trying to perfect.Valmiki Mentioned bout position of Adam's Bridge,Sri lanka...He dint had any kind of Satellites to tell him n position of those places n if im not wrong...he wasnt present in any of those places. He was writting Ramyana thousands of Km's away from the places he mentioned.

Can our saints and seers, who have from birth till death spoke the truth, acted with truth and preached only the truth, become the liars today and their writings unbelievable and false, whereas the foreign scholars and their native modern followers are truthful?
most of the time this may be correct but some circustances makes the rishis also tell lie or suppress the truth. When vedvyas mother satyavati meets the rishi on her boat, some sexual matter develops and satyavati asks the rishi not to tell this to others. so the rishi creats clouds around them and enjoys the situation. here it becomes imperative to tell lie. so there are circumstances that forced the rishis also to lie

You seem to be a real paper tiger! Hanuman indeed offered to Ram to take him to Lanka and Hanuman also offered to Sita to take her back to Ram from Lanka. Both these offers were rejected by Ram and Sita for valid reasons. Tiger would have licked the feet of Hanuman and agreed to the like offers!! Tiger does not know even one thing about Ramayana: Sita remained in Lanka only for 10 months or less, not twelve years. Ravan, tho an abducter, had some good qualities, for he never touched the women abducted by him by force (unlike the present day rapists, for Tiger's info.) and therefore nothing indecent happened to Sita. Hanuman did not make rama shoot his Twin Brother! What stupid info. Tiger has got, from his own version of Ramayana, perhaps. Rama killed Vali, brother of Sugreeva, not of Hanuman!! Rama was indeed eating meat, he was a Kshatriya and in those days Kshatriyas did eat meat. Nothing wrong. People like tiger should develop their brain, if any, and should not indulge in crass misinformation and untruth.

I think u really need to see an optician ASAP...it wasnt Hanuman's Twin brother,infact Hanuman never had any sibling...so get ur facts rite 1st, Do u know anything bout theory of Karma?Ravan was more intellectual and wise man den Ram...n even Ram knew dat.It was Ravan's Karma(deeds) which spelt doom for him.If Ram had to go with Hanuman'n finish d far sooner s u said....Den things wouldnt have happend...d way dey happend...n they were Suppose to happen dat ways.. I dint knew we were debating on Food eating habits of Ram..were we? n bout Ravan's "Devilish things" read Ramyana if u could...or watch it somewhere,Sita Used a fig of Grass to ward of Ravan.....dat was the Power of Purity dat Ravan dint' n couldnt do anything..else..he would have been Fried...

@Rationalist This is the point Author is trying to make ALL of US understand..its not KAVYA(Fiction) If something dint have any proof of its existence bcoz of Due process of Millions of years...U cant term it as Fiction, Things in Ramayan Have had happend, Valmiki wasnt talking in Past/Future...it was written in Present Tense. How did he came out with Pushpak(plane)...u wanna say its Fiction...seeing a plane? Science of those times was as advanced as Modern times, we just lost it all coz our govt. isnt doing anything about it.
Why all this debates and discussions about religions and caste. Why are not people understanding that these are just election gimmicks by our polictians. The divide and rule policy of Britishers is followed religouly by our politicians. Instead of getting into these discussion one should follow the religion which gives him satisfaction and peace of mind and just ignore what others think or write about it. If each one of us start questioning the existence of Ram, Jesus, Buddha, we will not find peace but will find only pieces every where.

who told u Ravan is a devil?karuna? Ravan is a most admired respectful brahmin king. he is not dravidian. sita escaped from agnishudhi only bcaz ravan never touched her until and unless she likes him. And ravan challenged rama only for lakshman's abuse on his sister. Ravan used his own flight 5000 yrs back. He is the only person in the world with 10 part of the brain working simoltaneously. Ravan and Rama are the great epics in hinduist history. We respect them both.
