Supposedly the government cares so much about Budhia, but what about the other thousands of kids in the Slums? Das's murder was a set up but the government of Orissa and The Child Welfare Committee. After his mother took him back, he stayed with her for a while and all of a sudden he received a scholarship for his athletic abilities? B.S. Speculation and Greed over money is what put an end to the life of Biranchi Das and the career of Budhia Singh. A boy onced destined for greatness, is now doomed.
its crazy,the way a criminal is given leeway.its said this guy the murderer of Biranchi Das and obsessesd fan of Leslie Tripathy is hand in gloves with certain B.J.D party mps.he was hiding at some bjp mla bedu agarwal's house before he was arrested. its obvious naveen patnaik is taking a soft stand towards the criminal.
Biranchi Das no doubt discover the wonder kid Budhia but allegation also follow him. Some allegation that he misutilised budhia money for his own good. He purchased a well built house after Budhia comes to light. He enjoyed good life after Budhia got recognation. What ever may be but this is unfortunate incident which happen to the Judo coach. He helped lot of poor boys to get employment through judo. Gog bless the soul.

Biranchi Das was a egomaniac that used Budhia in the pretext of "helping" him. If he was a good soul he would've never let Budhia run the marathon in which he collapsed. If you are a person of a sane mind you would not make a 4 year old run withour water for 7 hours & expect him to be ok. Baranchi was sick & he had what happened comming to him. Justice was done!

when you run such a long marathon, it is only natural for your body to collapse. Especially in the heat and also if you are dehydrated. The boy began vomiting, because he was moving for so long and then he stopped. What he experienced was the opposite of sea-sickness. It is called land-sickness.
Budhia reached this stage only because of the effort taken by his coach Birinchi Das.He was the one who found the potential in Budhia.
The Government which is crying about the health of Budhia could do nothing when he was sold by his mother.The coach who was to be felcitated has been made villian.Unfortunately there is no recognition of real talent and contributions in India.
In my opinion safest job in India is of a Shooter... and well paid also with a lot of overseas trip.... So, who so ever wants a full filling life, roll up your sleeves and join your hands with underworld... and you will get a lot of help and support of police and judiciary also...
What are you waiting for stand up and take the gun and start shooting...

well said....even after been secular for more then 60 yrs we still have differences in the name of caste n religion, which is dragging india backwards.

Good observation.. Few days back there was a report on congress promising color TVs in Karnataka for for TVs, there was link 'Get Quote' and if one clicks on it, it was showing stock price of TVS company :-)

Hey... I remember reading this story on rediff sometime back - some gangster called Raja or something was harassing a model called Leslie and some nonsense was happening. Damn.... if this is the case, how and where did a sports coach come into the picture ? A love triangle killing huh ? Sad state of affairs.
Whats with Orissa these days - a lot of gangster related activity suddenly happening there - gang sters of Dawood, some runaway gangsters from Bangladesh and other terrorists from god knows which all places are suddenly landing up there. Is it becoz the place is a relatively low profile state that all this is happening ? Hope the authorities pull up their socks and clamp down before it gets too late.

Yes this matter is well published but a passive govt has left things in the hands (if at all he has them) of as you know Lord Jagannath.
Biranchi Das will get his credit when the boy gets his reward in future !!! then people will understand Biranchi Das !!! may his soul rest in peace !!!
