dear aoneall, let me tell u dat ambedkar was no angel,he was nothing but a cunning politician who conspired with d british to kill gandhiji,became a minister in the british govt and opposed the freedom movement tooth and nail.HE WAS AGAINST GRANTING OF INDEPENDENCE TO INDIA AND REPEATEDLY PETITIONED THE THEN VICEROY NOT TO DO SO.There is not one single solitary instance where he supported the freedom movement in any form.If u want proof read the fourteen volumes of"Babasaheb Ambedkar:Speeches and Writings" published by the Maharashtra govt and sold at subsidised rates.THE FACTS ARE INDISPUTABLE IN THESE AS A PROPER RECORD IS AVAILABLE OF THESE SPEECHES AS WELL.I also recommend the very illuminating book by Arun Shourie"Worshipping False Gods" where he exposes the real Ambedkar in front of the world.

It is the time when there should be an anti reservation political party to balance the power. Congress and BJP always enjoyed the votes of unreserved castes and never voice for thier favor. this is the high time now to form a party who will be against this policy. Otherwise the upcoming generations on unreserved categories will become dalits in this country.

Anti reservationists are hell bent to sabotage the reservation of OBC. They can go to any extent to do this and since they have full control of bureaucracy and judiciary, the chances are they will be successful also. One example is that till today, only 5 percent of jobs have been given to OBC as against allotted 27 percent. Government of India should immediately create a separate high power ministry to oversee the implementation of OBC reservation.

Supreme Court of India has justified the cause of sharing national wealth by giving equal opportunities as well as protecting right of the weaker section of the society. We have been observing in all walks of life that it is deliberately projected and reinforced in the minds of people that weaker section of society are genetically weaker and does not possess intellectual and knowledgebase to qualify for the better options available to upper caste of the society. my dear friend, if the reservation is done for really backward people like SC, ST people without much lowering the cut-off marks, then i dont think that people would have problem. but the problem is that this caste based reservation is not for the really backwards but for some castes which are politically strong. see, how much hue and cry govt. is making to include creamy layer in reservation. this shows that government is not interested in upliftment of really underprivilaged and people. rather it is interested in just playing the casted based politics.

Can a rickshawpuller's son be denied of an opportunity to rise in life just because he is a poor brahmin?
In that case who is perpetuating the heinous crime of caste based social discrimination?
Who are the crooks who are torturing the poor among the upper castes and how are you going to adress this issue to assure them a proper place under the sun?
How come the poor among the brahmins like Pandit Ishwarchandra Vidyasagar are succeeding by the dint of their hard work and merit and such ideals could be vigourously championed?

Just like RSS mind and Shakha people assemble on the Board of Trustee of IIM and IIT and almost all major institutions of the Government where they plant their ideologies to deprive weaker section and eat money and resources reserved for the weaker sections of the society. This injustice and favoritism eventually witnessed and was apparent on the face of outcomes from these institutions in the form of monopoly and supremacy. The myth was aired and propaganda being made that only Brahmin and Baniyas have been gifted good minds by the god to become eligible for IIM and IIT. DO you agree with this contention then who will agree on this planet except beneficiaries who were continuously engaged in this social crime therefore they were deserved this judgment to curtail their activities.
If you consider oppresion, obc are not oppresed-so why reservation? If you consider economic condition then why not general category poorscan get reservation? This judgement will ruin,devastate India.There wont be this nice country INDIA which main strength is diversity.For this congress party and arjun singh will be responsible.
The Supreme court judgment is tricky. Unless the full content is read & analysed, one will not know the pros and cons of the judgment. The Honbl'e court must need to come out with clarifications very soon. on the question of creamy layer, i will give a significant observation: The Hon'ble court has held that once a person becomes a graduate, then he is not entitled to reservation (this point is still not clear). will our netas accept it. There is going to be a fight between the legislature (parliament) and judiciary regarding the same. The last word on reservations is yet to be pronounced. However, the way of thinking of the honourable court leads one to infer that courts may not accept caste based reservation in the days to come, there has to be economic criteria to justify the same. This is a welcome development.

So-called social reformers and geriatic politicians like Arjun Singh, and mavericks like Sharad Yadav and Ram Doss also know it. But they have to develop their constituencies amongst the deprived, which they can only do is by keeping them deprived, and at the same time waving a twig of reservation before them. If the politicians really meant business, 60 years was a very long slice of time to bring equality amongst all citizens of the country. But then these politicians would have been a part of dustbin of history, which any way they soon will be. Only if Kumari Mayavati takes the lead in the right direction, but again she has her political compulsions. Ram Vilas Paswan, Prakash Ambedkar and the like will not allow her the pleasure of becoming a social reformer in the true sense.
