Creamy layer (Malai) has definitely been taken by the Judges of the Supreme Court. Their coffers might have been filled by the self serving politicians. Do we have recourse when we are let down by the Apex court
Create a new university for all the reserved categories & let it fill 100% by sc/st/obc etc. Let every taluka have a school/college for them exclusively.Still you will want reservation because you will find 100 reasons to go to a superior school & why it has become superior is because it encourages competetion sans caste. You kill competition you end up nowhere,directionless.What after reserved education, you will want to continue with reserved jobs then reservations in promotions & so on.You have got used to it.You will never want to leave it & after your death your kith & kin will continue to enjoy the reservation because you are still a "backward caste" by govt. definition.

Shalu....Is this country not yours? Why would somebody give you the eqality? We have a bad caste system...we all should get rid of it and feel equal....and raise our voice where we see inequality.
Democracy is "of the people, by the people and for the people" and in democracy the policy is set for the majority of the people, just because few people demonstrate and these new agencies giving the good coverage will not make them the majority voice. Even with majority opinion is pro-reservation call it vote bank politics or what ever even if the 1% of the 27% quota benifits some one its worth the implementaions.

How long do these people want to be called backward. Is't it shameless to be classified on the basis of caste even after achieving forwardness both financially and educationally. Tamil Nadu system is designed to make Stalin,Kanimozi and other Karunanidhi offsprings CM,MP, etc. So you need reservations to do that!

People of India, In my opinion the reservation is not the total remedy for upliftment of the downtrodden. The remedy for upliftment is only to provide support system like,providing, books, libraries, concession in fees,free coaching centres for all classes who are economically still backward after 60 long years. The support system for education must goeson. The people of India the great country doesnot want to walk on crutches they want to stand on their own legs. These politicians doing all these things for their benefit only not for public. Please understand their game of dividing on caste basis. Still these politicians following the policies of English people. The person develops only when there is healthy competition. If everyone gets equal opportunity in education then no one need for Reservation in jobs. There are lot of job opportunities now.

Mishra jee, It is not crutches. India is an extremely poor country and very few oppurtunities exist as against a large number of aspirants. So, a large number of perfectly eligible people are always left out. To give a fair shar of resources to every group in the society, reservation is required.
