OBCs r not untouchables !
by sasidhar v on Apr 11, 2008 05:45 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Please note that OBCs r not untouchables. They were ruling classes and responsible for untochability. Be it Naickers, Waghelas or Yadavs. They were rulers till recently. They amassed wealth being kings even under british, then after independence started spending money in politics to get Positions. Still ruling under the pretext of OBCs. Why no one is talking about ? They got into all field withing state by reserving it to themselves. Now they r expanding to the places where they cannot get till now. They never habit of following merit.

The madness continues
by jaideep shirali on Apr 11, 2008 05:39 PM  Permalink

I would have been glad if the persecution of the Dalits or similar oppressed classes had reduced, but all legislations have not changed this. Brahmins, the so - called oppressors, are a reviled yet voiceless class in India, living in poverty in many states. The Backward castes include landowners in many states, not Brahmins. If the downtrodden are still exploited, their exploiters are from the backward classes, Brahmins as a whole are neither as rich nor as powerful. I am still optimistic that our future will still be great as a nation. I wonder how many youth,my own children included, would have the patience and tenacity to live in an India divided into more bits than during British rule. The madness of division by castes has continued with the latest OBC ruling. And with all respect to Mr Kelkar, one has to be in India and a 'forward' caste person, to understand what havoc the caste wars will result in.

SOCIALIST was added to Preamble later
by Vijay P on Apr 11, 2008 05:16 PM  Permalink

The word 'socialist' was added to the Preamble of the Indian Constitution by Indira Gandhi in 1976, and was not there in the original Constitution.

Indian Constitution

Dr BR Ambedkar did not write our constitution, instead he copied the articles from around the world to create more confusion in the Indian society. Beleive it or not this is the truth.

yes he definitely referred to all the constitutions, british in particular but to say he copied it from somewhere is sheer childish thought.
For a such big document referances and certain as it is adaptation is necessary. For your information the team had ro write as many as 6 articles as per Indian culture and conditions - eg. Hindu undivided family law (Do u think he copied it from ...say Canada )
Its politicians of today along with some "brainy" lawyers who are twisting the meaning of our constitutions. Lastly you have power as a citizen to push for any constitution ammendment, do it instead of criticising that great man.

Whosoever has written the constitution is hangworthy who has divided India in between SC/ST/OBC/Minority/Woman/Regions/Language etc.,etc.,
The purpose was for social equality and harmoney not hate. This is not achieved.

I belive you dude. It is absolutely true. He was himself a lower class guy and he definitely copied it from Canada, US, England, Australia and all the British ruled colonies of the world. Now you can expect what kind of treatment you would get if you visit AIIMS or the kind of output you would get from IIT's and IIMs.
